    Abstract:

    Fig.!. A view of St Mark's Basilica The pavement of St Mark's Basilica in Venice is very famo us for its historical-artistic importance, for its undulation, for the richness of the materials. Conservative restoration and the necessity of a precise acquaintance of the entire mosaic induced to the digital relief in scale 1:1 of all the musive surface to obtain a 3D orthophoto. In a first test area, and in a subsequently area about 40mq in the right transept, technologies , elaborations, instruments for the appraisal of the operating feasibility of a relief have been experienced. After the verification of the relief feasibility 3000 targets have been placed on the pavement (one; each 80 em per 2000mq), 684 L. Fregonese, C. C. Monti, G. Monti, L. Taffurelli those ones have been topographically surveyed by the means of a total station and they have been levelled in altitude. All has been punctually geo-referenced in the national cartographic system. With an high resolution metric digital camera, employing a f/40mm lens with nadiral shot about 2.20m have been realized more than 2000 shots . Ground pixel measures 0,5mm. The DSM (Digital Surface Model), with lcm net, has been obtained by the auto-correlation of the image by the means of Socet Set 5.2.0 Software Property of BAE System. As from the DTM we finally proceeded with the realization of the 3D orthophoto of the all pavement. Fig. 2. The actual state of the orthophoto is inserted into the plan This one gives us the correct position of each pavemental tessera and permits a totally automatical form to extract altimetric profiles between prearranged points and so realize, always automatically, templates for the restoring of the basement with his characteristical undulation. The St Mark's Basilica Pavement: The Digital Ortophoto 3D Realisation 685 First test of 3D ortophoto feasibility The construction of a 3D orthophoto of the San Marco's Basilica pavement was certainly a unique initiative whether the methodological point of view, for the precisions to attain, whether the importance of the documentation about this kind of relief, the conservative restoration interventions of the pavement. The acquaintance of the 3D digital model permit visually and metrically to understand every piece of the mosaical pavement, and also to extract automatically the sections in every directions. Then, the realization of the digital pavement by the means of the geo-referencied 3D orthophoto permits the organization of restoration by the help of GIS . Fig. 3. The 3D orthophoto of the test area The construction of DSM of the pavement is the base of an orthophoto production. This one has been created in a double form, in this experimental phase: for the autocorrelation of the image, with laser scanner. Shots op-erations have been executed on a limitated area by the means of a Rollei D7 mertic camera and, if the experimentation was succeful, the relief would be apply at all the pavement. The photographic covering plan considered a ricovering of 60% between the frames in the strip direction (longitudinal) and 20% between adjacent strips (transversal) with a 1 mm pixel ground resolution. The laser scanner employed was Callidus, to realize the DSM in the interested area, DSM also realized for aerial triangulation and image correlation by topographic tie points for a comparison of the results obtained by two different methodologies. , Softwares employed are Spider Alias Wave Front for net points manage-ment , Arclnfo 8.0.2, ArcGIS 8.1 for DSM calculation and visualization, APEX PCI 7.0 for the orthophoto production. 686 L. Comparison obtained from DSM by autocorrelation of the image was perfect, the laser one presented some incertitudes. Sample narrowness didn 't permit any credit evaluation. As a point of view, tecni-cally, accured feasibility suggests some operative and instrumental modali-ties in view of the pavement general relief. First of all, have been realized the reduction the dimension of ground pixel from lrnrn to 0.5mm, by the means of a camera, meanwhile avaiable, with a major sensor dimension and a major high resolution (Rollei DB44 metric).     Abstract:

    In this article, the authors contrast the results of a series of interviews with agile Software development organizations with a case study of a distributed agile development effort, focusing on how information security is taken care of in an agile context. The interviews indicate that small and medium-sized agile Software development organizations do not use any particular methodology to achieve security goals, even when their Software is web-facing and potential targets of attack. This case study confirms that even in cases where security is an articulated requirement, and where security design is fed as input to the implementation team, there is no guarantee that the end result meets the security objectives. The authors contend that security must be built as an intrinsic Software Property and emphasize the need for security awareness throughout the whole Software development lifecycle. This paper suggests two extensions to agile methodologies that may contribute to ensuring focus on security during the complete lifecycle.
