Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry, 2002Co-Authors: Y. C. Guo, S. R. Luan, Y. R. Chen, X. S. Zang, Y. Q. Jia, G. Q. Zhong, S. K. RuanAbstract:New hexamethylenetetramine complexes of antimony and bismuth trichloride were synthesized through a Solid Phase Reaction of hexamethylenetetramine and antimony or bismuth trichloride. The formula of the complex is MCl3(C6H12N4)2⋅H2O (M=Sb, Bi).The crystal structure of the complexes belongs to monoclinic system and the lattice parameters: a=1.249 nm, b=1.4583 nm, c=1.6780 nm andβ=91.78° for SbCl3(C6H12N4)2⋅H2O and a=1.3250 nm, b=1.3889 nm, c=1.7449 nm and β=98.94° for BiCl3(C6H12N4)2⋅H2O. Far-infrared spectra reveal that the antimony or bismuth ion is coordinated by the nitrogen atom of the hexamethylenetetramine. The thermal analysis also demonstrates the complex formation between the antimony or bismuth ion and hexamethylenetetramine. The intermediate and final residues in the thermal decomposition process have been analyzed to check the pyrolysis Reaction.

nay moo4 2 eu3 and nay0 9bi0 1 moo4 2 eu3 submicrometer phosphors hydrothermal synthesis assisted by room temperature Solid state Reaction microstructure and photoluminescence
Materials Chemistry and Physics, 2009Co-Authors: Jianhua WuAbstract:Abstract NaY(MoO4)2:Eu3+ and NaY0.9Bi0.1(MoO4)2:Eu3+ submicrometer phosphors have been synthesized by a composite technology involving hydrothermal process assisted Solid state Reaction at room temperature. It is revealed that crystalline water is necessary for the Solid Phase Reaction at room temperature. The XRD patterns indicate that both NaY(MoO4)2:Eu3+ and NaY0.9Bi0.1(MoO4)2:Eu3+ submicrometer phosphors crystallize well with the scheelite structure. Both SEM and TEM images illustrate that the average grain size of NaY(MoO4)2:Eu3+ and NaY0.9Bi0.1(MoO4)2:Eu3+ is about 200 nm without conglomeration. The luminescent lifetimes and quantum efficiencies for NaY(MoO4)2:Eu3+ and NaY0.9Bi0.1(MoO4)2:Eu3+ are determined, indicating that the introduction of Bi3+ is favorable for the luminescence of Eu3+.

Reactions of 1 2 diaza 1 3 dienes with thiol derivatives a versatile construction of nitrogen sulfur containing heterocycles
Tetrahedron, 2008Co-Authors: Orazio A Attanasi, Paolino Filippone, Samuele Lillini, Fabio Mantellini, Simona Nicolini, Jesus M De Los Santos, Roberto Ignacio, Domitila Aparicio, Francisco PalaciosAbstract:Abstract The synthesis of substituted 2,3-dihydro-1,4-thiazines, fused cycloalkyl-1,4-thiazines, 1,4-benzothiazines and fused cycloalkyl-1,4-benzothiazines by 1,4-addition of 1,2-aminothiols to 1,2-diaza-1,3-dienes bearing carboxylate, carboxamide, or phosphorylated groups and subsequent internal heterocyclization is described. The Reaction of carboxylated 1,2-diaza-1,3-butadienes with 2-(butylamino)ethanethiol affords 1,4-thiazinan-3-ones. The Solid-Phase Reaction of polymer-bound 1,2-diaza-1,3-butadienes with 1,2-aminothiols produces 2,3-dihydro-1,4-thiazines and 1,4-benzothiazines.

straightforward access to pyrazines piperazinones and quinoxalines by Reactions of 1 2 diaza 1 3 butadienes with 1 2 diamines under solution solvent free or Solid Phase conditions
Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2006Co-Authors: Domitila Aparicio, Orazio A Attanasi, Paolino Filippone, Samuele Lillini, Fabio Mantellini, Roberto Ignacio, Francisco Palacios, Jesus M De Los SantosAbstract:The preparation of tetrahydropyrazines, dihydropyrazines, pyrazines, piperazinones, and quinoxalines by 1,4-addition of 1,2-diamines to 1,2-diaza-1,3-butadienes bearing carboxylate, carboxamide, or phosphorylated groups at the terminal carbon and subsequent internal heterocyclization is described. The solvent-free Reaction of carboxylated 1,2-diaza-1,3-butadienes with the same reagents affords piperazinones, while phosphorylated 1,2-diaza-1,3-butadienes yield phosphorylated pyrazines. The Solid-Phase Reaction of polymer-bound 1,2-diaza-1,3-butadienes with 1,2-diamines produces pyrazines.

mechanochemical dechlorination of polyvinyl chloride by co grinding with various metal oxides
Advanced Powder Technology, 2004Co-Authors: Tsuyoshi Inoue, Miyuki Miyazaki, Masataka Kamitani, Junya Kano, Fumio SaitoAbstract:Abstract Polyvinyl chloride powder was ground with one of the oxide powders, i.e. CaO, Fe 2 O 3 , SiO 2 and Al 2 O 3 , in air by a planetary ball mill to investigate the mechanochemical dechlorination of PVC. Grinding causes the size reduction of the each component. The PVC powder sample is degraded by grinding with reduction of molecular weight, forming C=C bonds in its structure. The dechlorination occurs in all the ground mixtures, but its phenomenon is classified into two types. One is the Solid-Phase Reaction to form chlorides, CaOHCl and FeCl 2 2H 2 O, when CaO and Fe 2 O 3 powders are used. The other is the release of HCl gas by degradation when SiO 2 and Al 2 O 3 powders are used. All the same, the dechlorination yield increases not only with an increase in grinding time, but also with excess of oxide powder.

mechanochemical synthesis of hydroxyapatite from ca oh 2 p2o5 and cao ca oh 2 p2o5 mixtures
Journal of Materials Science, 2000Co-Authors: Qiwu Zhang, Fumio SaitoAbstract:Dry grinding of Ca(OH)2-P2O5 and CaO-Ca(OH)2-P2O5 mixtures was conducted by a planetary ball mill to investigate the mechanochemical Solid-Phase Reaction for the synthesis of hydroxyapatite (Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2, HAp). HAp was synthesized by grinding of the two sets of mixtures. The formation of HAp from the Ca(OH)2-P2O5 mixture was more advantageous than that from the CaO-Ca(OH)2-P2O5 one. This synthesis Reaction from the former mixture was almost completed within 30 min of grinding. The presence and amount of H2O contained in the starting mixtures played a key role to promote the formation of HAp. Especially, in the former mixture, the prolonged grinding assisted the Solid-Phase Reaction of the intermediate DCPD and Ca(OH)2 to produce HAp more effectively.

highly dispersed ru on electride ca24al28o64 4 e 4 as a catalyst for ammonia synthesis
ACS Catalysis, 2014Co-Authors: Yasunori Inoue, Masaaki Kitano, Michikazu Hara, Toshiharu Yokoyama, Hideo HosonoAbstract:A high surface area 12CaO·7Al2O3 electride (HT-C12A7:e–) was synthesized by the hydrothermal process and subsequent reduction with CaH2 as a reducing agent, and was then examined as a support for a Ru catalyst in ammonia synthesis. Electrons are successfully incorporated into the cages of C12A7 powder by reduction with CaH2 at 973 K. The concentration of encaged electrons increases with the dehydration temperature of the sample before the CaH2 treatment. The surface area of the resulting material (ca. 20 m2 g–1) is higher than that of the C12A7 electride prepared by conventional Solid-Phase Reaction (SP-C12A7:e–, ca. 1 m2 g–1). The rate of ammonia synthesis over Ru/HT-C12A7:e– is twice that of Ru/SP-C12A7:e–, and there is no significant difference in the apparent activation energy between both catalysts under the optimal conditions. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and CO chemisorption measurements revealed that Ru nanoparticles are more highly dispersed on HT-C12A7:e– than that on SP-C12A7:e–, whic...

growth mechanism for single crystalline thin film of ingao3 zno 5 by reactive Solid Phase epitaxy
Journal of Applied Physics, 2004Co-Authors: Kenji Nomura, Hiromichi Ohta, Kazushige Ueda, Toshio Kamiya, Masahiro Orita, Masahiro Hirano, Toshiyuki Suzuki, Chizuru Honjyo, Yuichi Ikuhara, Hideo HosonoAbstract:The growth mechanism for a single-crystalline film of InGaO3(ZnO)5 (IGZO) on a (111)-oriented yttria-stabilized-zirconia substrate by reactive Solid-Phase epitaxy was studied by high-resolution x-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, and atomic force microscopy. We focused on the role of the 2-nm-thick ZnO epitaxial layer during the structural evolution of the 200-nm-thick polycrystalline- (poly-) IGZO layer while thermal annealing. When a thin ZnO epitaxial layer was formed before depositing the poly-IGZO layer, thin single-crystalline epitaxial IGZO seeds were initially formed only on the substrate surface or on the thin ZnO epitaxial layer through a Solid-Phase Reaction between the ZnO epitaxial layer and the poly-IGZO layer. A single-crystalline IGZO layer grew from the IGZO seeds toward the top surface of the film along with a much faster lateral grain growth, which formed a large-area single-crystalline IGZO film with an atomically flat terraced and stepped surface. On the other hand, a...
