    Abstract:

    A large set of library functions is available with the mikroC compiler. These library functions can be called from anywhere in a program, and they do not require that header files are included in the program. The mikroC user manual gives a detailed description of each library function, with examples. Some of the frequently used library functions are: EEPROM library, LCD library, software universal asynchronous receiver transmitter (UART) library, hardware USART library, Sound library, ANSI C library, and miscellaneous library. The EEPROM library includes functions to read data from the on-chip PIC microcontroller nonvolatile EEPROM memory, or to write data to this memory. EEPROM library provides two functions—Eeprom_Read, which reads a byte from a specified address of the EEPROM, and Eeprom_Write, which writes a byte to a specified address of the EEPROM. The mikroC LCD library provides a large number of functions to control text-based LCDs with 4-bit and 8-bit data interfaces, and for graphics LCDs. The most common are the 4-bit-interface text-based LCDs. Functions in the sound library make it possible to generate sounds in the applications. A speaker should be connected to the required microcontroller port. The functions that are offered by the sound library are Sound_Init and Sound_play.

    É fruto de (re)encontros esse texto: certo é considerar ser seu motor o jogo dos sons no romance Grande Sertão: Veredas do mineiro João Guimarães Rosa e ele fala um pouco de algumas coisas mais. No capítulo homônimo ao título deste trabalho visito reflexões sobre linguística e poética de Jan Mukarovsky e Roman Jakobson, notáveis estudiosos da linguagem que no início do século XX reliam e deslocavam as ideias apresentadas na obra fundadora da linguística moderna, o Curso de Linguística Geral . Se se pode apontar o jogo dos sons como motor dessa escrita, lícito é sinalizar que por outras paragens também passa este escrito. Visito a vida e a linguagem do Rosa de Cordisburgo e dou relevância aos sons e à escuta aí; e ao final do percurso passo por distintos aspectos da linguagem do GS:V , refletindo a partir de Roland Barthes sobre a fala no romance; de Paul Zumthor sobre a voz referenciada e convocada pelo GS:V ; e a partir de Sigmund Freud sobre o sentimento do infamiliar na ordem da língua provocado pelas palavras terrivelmente encantadoras de João Guimarães Rosa.This text is the fruit of (re)encounters: it is right to consider that the soundplay in the novel Grande Sertão: Veredas by Guimarães Rosa from Minas Gerais is the driving force of this work, and it is about this and about more. In the chapter that is homonym to the title of this work I visit reflections on linguistics and poetry by Jan Mukarovsky and Roman Jakobson, remarkable linguistic scholars who, at the beginning of the 20th century, reread and displaced the ideas presented in the founding work of modern linguistics, Course in General Linguistics. If it is possible to point the soundplay as the driving force of these writings, it is fair to indicate that they go through other places. I visit the life and language of Rosa de Codisburgo and pay attention to sound and listening; and at the end of the path I go through different aspects of the language in GS:V, reflecting from Roland Barthes’ ideas about the speech in the novel, from Paul Zumthor’s ideas about the referenced voice, and from Sigmund Freud’s ideas about the unfamiliar feeling in the language caused by the terrible and enchanting words of Guimarães Rosa
