    Abstract:

    Spatial Information System is the most hot area in research domain. Its theory analysis and physics experimental System build-up are difficult so simulation becomes an important means for analyzing this System. A simulation System framework structure for Spatial Information System was developed. The distributed interactive simulation System was adopted based on HLA(High Level Architecture)building up ground-based simulation and demonstrate System. Using RTI(Runtime Infrastructure System)managed the distributed simulation environment Information exchange. The System structure was introduced at the same time and the simulation framework running environment was proposed including hardware and software. At last, a using case about this System was given.

    Abstract:

    ISAMUD (Integrated System for Analysis and Management of Ungulate Data) is an integrated and modular software platform developed to manage GPS collar data for wildlife management. It is based on an open source Spatial database (PostgreSQL and PostGIS) and includes open source data management, geo-statistical analysis and Web services modules (R, QGIS, GRASS, MapServer, Ka-Map) and a proprietary database front-end (MS Access). It is able to store, retrieve, update, analyze, visualize and disseminate GPS telemetry data in an efficient and consistent way, with a high degree of automatization.

    Abstract:

    The architecture,technologies and implementation of the Shanghai city Spatial Information System for application and service,a SIG(Spatial Information Grid) based platform was introduced.In the System,there were ten categories of Spatial Information resources,including city planning,land-use,real estate,river System,transportation,municipal facility construction,environmental protection,sanitation,urban afforestation and basic geographic Information data.In addition,Spatial Information processing services were offered as means of GIS Web Services.The resources and services were all distributed in different Web-based nodes.A single database was created to store the metadata of all the Spatial Information.A portal site was published as the main user interface of the System.There are three main functions in the portal site.First,users can search the metadata and acquire the distributed data by using the searching results.Second,some Spatial processing Web applications developed with GIS Web Services,such as file format conversion,Spatial coordinate transfer,cartographic generalization and Spatial analysis are offered.Third,GIS Web Services currently available in the System can be searched and new ones can be registered.The System has been working efficiently in Shanghai government network since 2005.

    Abstract:

    :  The present article addresses the development of a Spatial Information System (SIS), which aims to facilitate risk management of large-scale concrete structures. The formulation of the SIS is based on ideas developed in the context of indicator-based risk modeling for concrete structures subject to corrosion and geographical Information System based risk modeling concerning large-scale risk management. The term “risk management” here refers in particular to the process of condition assessment and optimization of the inspection and repair activities. The SIS facilitates the storage and handling of all relevant Information to the risk management. The probabilistic modeling utilized in the condition assessment takes basis in a Bayesian hierarchical modeling philosophy. It facilitates the updating of risks as well as optimizing inspection plans whenever new Information about the condition of the structure becomes available. In the SIS, the various data of relevance for the risk management can be visualized in three dimensions. This feature and the other functionalities of the SIS are illustrated in an example considering the Danish Faro bridges.

Accurate and timely collection of cancer patient data with appropriate follow-up is required by the Commission on Cancer. electronic medical Information System (EMIS) and medical database (MDB) as basises for health service planning and resource allocation are vital importance in settings with limitted resources. Whether the data is collected on paper or electronically does not matter at the end important is the involvment of the staff responsible for its collection and the tangible benefits for the health professionals. This paper present Spatial Information System (SIS) for cancer patients' registry in Egypt which will be very important from the reference and legal point of views for the consultant and administration and also will play vital role in treatment, follow up, medical researches and statistical reports in hospitals.
