Glass Fused Steel Tank Lining
2018Co-Authors: ZenAbstract:The extensive perforations in the sectional glass fused steel Tank had been highlighted as an environmental concern by our Water Industry client. A Tank Lining was proposed to resolve the problem.

Tank Lining – Stainless Steel Digester Lining Mission
2017Co-Authors: ZenAbstract:Upon further inspection, we found out that the sectional stainless steel anaerobic digester Tank had extensive perforations as a result of microbial induced corrosion. It meant that it was out of service and no longer gas tight. So it was a real challenge to make it work again at full capacity.

Tank Lining chemical resistance
Materials Performance, 2002Co-Authors: L. D. Vincent, V. J. DattaAbstract:Tank Lining systems vary widely in chemical composition. Minute changes from one epoxy to another can make great differences in a Tank Lining's ability to withstand immersion in a broad range of solvents. Cleaning procedures between loadings can affect a Lining's long-term resistance to various chemicals. Although product data sheets provide good general guidance, they are not sufficient for determining if a Tank Lining can withstand a broad range of exposures. The wise project manager depends on the supplier's chemical resistance tables to keep from making a wrong choice.

Use of Refractories in the Melting Tank of a High-Production-Capacity Glass Melting Furnace
Refractories and Industrial Ceramics, 2019Co-Authors: V. Ya. DzyuzerAbstract:We describe the operating parameters of high-production-capacity container-glass melting furnaces and specify the service conditions of the melting-Tank Lining at a specific glass-melt production rate of 2.5 – 3.0 t/(m^2·d) and a specific glass production per furnace run of 7000 – 8000 metric tons/m^2. We recommend that melt-molded baddeleyite-corundum and vibration-cast sintered chromium-aluminum-zirconium refractories be used in Tank structures.

Dynamic finite element analysis of surge Tank in construction period under complex geological conditions
Journal of Water Resources and Water Engineering, 2011Co-Authors: Zhang QuanAbstract:The surge Tank is a kind of underground hydraulic structure. The dynamic characteristics of surge Tank are comparatively sensitive to geology condition.Combined with one hydroelectric station's surge Tank of Morocco in complicated geology condition, the dynamic characteristic of surge Tank in construction period is analyzed by 3-D dynamic finite element method in this paper. The results showed the coupling effect of horizontal and vertical earthquake will obviously strengthen dynamic reaction of surge Tank Lining structure. Therefore,it is necessary to consider the coupling effect of horizontal and vertical earthquake in the anti-earthquake design of the surge Tank.
