  • Intelligent Telemetering Water-level System Based on GSM Network
    Communications Technology, 2009
    Co-Authors: Jin Xiao-feng
    Abstract:

The intelligent Telemetering water-level system,by taking GSM network,as the platform, the monolithic processor control technology and wireless network technology as the core, and through the intelligent information acquisition, processing, and sending to the user-service terminal, realizes the water-level Telemetering,water-level message data sharing. This integration of long-distance data acquisition with GSM wireless data transmission technology accomplishes the long-distance water-level Telemetering, and maker the grass-roots units completely end up the history of manually observing the water-level.

  • DUAL-CHANNEL RECEIVER PERFORMANCE USING BESTCHANNEL SELECTION: FIELD TEST RESULTS
    International Foundation for Telemetering, 2019
    Co-Authors: Uetrecht Jim
    Abstract:

Best-Channel Selection (BCS) uses real-time data quality metrics (DQM) to select the best demodulated bits from Channel 1, Channel 2, and the Combiner of dual-channel receivers. Laboratory testing has demonstrated a substantial reduction in bit error rate (BER) relative to individual channels (including the Combiner) under some synthesized link conditions, with no degradation in BER under the remainder of tested link conditions. This paper extends those results to real-world flight tests.International Foundation for TelemeteringProceedings from the International Telemetering Conference are made available by the International Foundation for Telemetering and the University of Arizona Libraries. • AN ALL-DIGITAL ANTENNA CONTROL PROTOCOL
    International Foundation for Telemetering, 2019
    Co-Authors: Uetrecht Jim
    Abstract:

For decades, analog amplitude modulation (AM) imparted by antenna feeds has served as the gold standard by which antenna control units (ACUs) manage tracking. This paper presents a digital alternative, designed to provide AM information, signal quality metrics, and additional real-time status, all over existing analog AM cables. Its benefits include reduced (and known) delay in the tracking loop, smart selection among multiple tracking receivers, and support for advanced features such as tracking through interfering signals and tracking intermittent or time-division-multiplexed transmissions.International Foundation for TelemeteringProceedings from the International Telemetering Conference are made available by the International Foundation for Telemetering and the University of Arizona Libraries. • Simulation system of Telemetering and telecontrol for unmanned aerial vehicle
IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Magazine, 2006
Co-Authors: Ding Wang, Rugui Yao, Jiadong Xu, Ruifeng Miao
    Abstract:

The unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) which is capable to observe the Earth has wide applications and large quantities, such as reconnaissance and surveillance, attack on the ground, fire-proof forest, and marine search and rescue, and so on. The system of simulation composed of tracking, navigation, telecontrol, Telemetering, and flight control is introduced in this paper. The method of simulation on Telemetering and telecontrol, tracking and position, and target observation and tracking is explained

  • DOPPLER POWER SPECTRA FROM VEHICLE-TO-EVERYTHING PROPAGATION EXPERIMENTS
    International Foundation for Telemetering, 2019
    Co-Authors: Norman Kalin, Jensen Benjamin
    Abstract:

This paper presents the results of vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) propagation experiments. The experimental results are summarized by Doppler power spectra. Our measurements indicate the need for a dynamic system that can handle the variable channels experienced in vehicle-to-everything communications.International Foundation for TelemeteringProceedings from the International Telemetering Conference are made available by the International Foundation for Telemetering and the University of Arizona Libraries.
