    Abstract:

    Abstract In this chapter, we illustrate why the activities, methods, and techniques of a UX process are not performed in a nice orderly sequence but are intertwined within the process, even occurring simultaneously within the UX studio (a work space for designers). We explain how projects start with a commissioning and a project brief, leading to a product concept statement, which ends up being a mission statement for the project. We use a running example of such a project based on the current Middleburg University Ticket Transaction Service and the newly envisioned Ticket Kiosk System.
