Multimedia Real-time Sharing System in P2P Network
Computer Engineering, 2010Co-Authors: Wang Yun-zeAbstract:This paper proposes a multimedia real-time sharing System in Peer-to-Peer(P2P) network based on a three-tier model.P2P network layer bases on JXTA protocol implements the resource search and issue.Service layer implements analysis of requesting information and searches media resource according to analytical result.Media application layer implements transmission and broadcast of audio and video streaming based on Java Media Framework(JMF),creates a copy of resource and publishes advertisement to the P2P network. This System uses catch along the matching points to speed up resource search. In order to avoid hot points, balance network load and select the optimum point dynamically, the paper proposes a concept of matching point service assessment parameter.

Construction and Implementation of Multitask Time-Sharing System in EC Design
Computer Engineering, 2008Co-Authors: Wang YingAbstract:According to the key issue of how to implement the function module in Embed Controller(EC) design, this paper proposes an ideal about constructing multitask Time-Sharing System mechanism in EC design.By discussing the EC function and the characteristic of multitask Time-Sharing System, the patition of task modularization and the software-hardware design of EC is achieved, corresponding application examples is presented.

CTSS-the compatible Time-Sharing System
IEEE Annals of the History of Computing, 1992Co-Authors: Fernando J. Corbató, M. Merwin-daggett, R.c. DaleyAbstract:Excerpts are presented from a 1962 paper by Fernando Corbato, M. Merwin-Daggett, and R.C. Daley. The selection from the paper, which reported work completed in late 1961, is reprinted from Proc. Spring Joint Computer Conf., vol.21, 1962. In this System, the Time-Sharing occurs among four users, three of whom are online each at a typewriter in a foreground System, and a fourth passive user of the background FAP-MAD-MADTRAN-BSS Monitor System used by most of the MIT Computation Center programmers and by many other 7090 installations. >

Real-time Performance of Linux System
Journal of Chongqing University, 2005Co-Authors: Li Lin-hao, Chen Long, Xiong An-pingAbstract:The standard Linux is a typical Time-Sharing System, it has a poor real-time performance. But according to the applications of the Linux OS are expanding on real-time domain, it becomes necessary to enhance the performance of the Linux System. This paper analyses the schedule policies and schedule algorithms of the Linux kernel, and discusses several different kinds of methods about enhancing real-time performance of the Linux System from the total Linux System. They authors summarizes the current research's developments of the Linux System.
