We proposed a diagnostic system for tongue inspection using fuzzy theory and applied this system to healthy volunteers based on Traditional Chinese Medicine. This system diagnosed syndromes such as deficiency syndrome, excess syndrome, coldness syndrome, and heat syndrome. We mainly focused on the evaluation of the coldness syndrome and the heat syndrome. The results suggested that this diagnostic system is useful for tongue inspection of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

This paper explains the preventive treatment principle in TCM regarding the subhealth condition following stress-induced pathophysiological situations, mainly oxidative and glycation stresses, in the framework of metabonomics and cell biology. Scientific interpretations for various preventive treatments in TCM present the idea that disease prevention should surpass medical intervention in humans. Antistress biology is proposed for the first time as a preclinical practice or strategy for antiaging.

The Traditional Chinese Medicine pancake comprises, by weight, 500 parts of flour, 30 parts of white sugar, 30 parts of processed sesame, 100 parts of rhizoma dioscoreae, 100 parts of poria, 100 parts of charred fructus crataegi, 60 parts of fructus aurantii immaturus, 50 parts of endothelium corneum gigeriae galli and 50 parts of arrillus longan. The method for manufacturing the Traditional Chinese Medicine pancake includes steps of 1), weighing other raw materials except for the flour, the white sugar and the processed sesame, mixing the other raw materials with one another and grinding the other raw materials to obtain fine powder; 2), adding 500 parts of the flour into the other ground raw materials, uniformly mixing the flour and the other ground raw materials with one another and blending the flour and the other ground raw materials by the aid of 100 parts of water to obtain dough; 3), adding 30 parts of the white sugar and 30 parts of the processed sesame into the dough, dividing the dough into 15-20 small pieces of dough, rolling the small pieces of dough by the aid of rolling pins to obtain pancakes and baking the pancakes at the baking temperatures of 120 DEG C for the baking time of 12 minutes to obtain the Traditional Chinese Medicine pancake.

According to the preparation standard of the Traditional Chinese Medicine decoction piece related to the deer blood crystal body in the Su drug administration note [2003] file No.451, the finished product is prepared through thin-layer spreading, condensing and low-temperature and reduced-pressure rapid drying technologies and is finally bagged; and the direct oral Traditional Chinese Medicine decoction piece product containing the deer blood crystal body is prepared from fresh deer blood by a high-energy electronic beam irradiation rapid-sterilization method which is free of pollution and free of residue, and does not destroy effective components.
