Study on SVPWM Method and Its Implementationfor Three-level Neutral-Point-Clamped Inverter
IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 2005Co-Authors: Chen Guo-chengAbstract:In this paper,Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) pattern and implement method are addressed for three-level Neutral-Point-Clamped (NPC) inverter. In order to avoid the abrupt change of output voltage vectors during the process of desired vector changing from one section to another,a novel Space Vector Modulation (SVM) algorithm is proposed where positive or negative small vectors are adopted as first active vector, and the duty time of active vectors for corresponding sub-Triangle Vertex is deducted. The neutral point potential stability is realized by detecting the direction of load current and neutral point voltage and designing the real duty time of positive and negative space vectors in reason. Finally, the effectiveness of proposed SVM method is confirmed by experiment results.

Study on SVPWM method for three-level neutral-point-clamped (NPC) inverter
Advanced Technology of Electrical Engineering and Energy, 2004Co-Authors: Chen Guo-chengAbstract:In this paper, SVPWM principle and implement method is addressed for three-level NPC inverter. In order to avoid the abrupt change of output voltage vectors during the process of desired vector changing from one section to another, a novel space vector modulation (SVM) algorithm is proposed where positive or negative small vectors are adopted as first active vector, and it is convenient to determine which section and sub-Triangle the desired vector is located at by three judging rules. Also, output voltage vector to synthesize the desired vector is given and the duty time of active vectors for corresponding sub-Triangle Vertex is deducted. The neutral point potential stability is realized by detecting the direction of load current and neutral point voltage and designing reasonable duty time of positive and negative space vectors. Finally, the effectiveness of proposed SVM method is confirmed by simulative results.

$T$-odd correlations in polarized top quark decays in the sequential decay $t(\uparrow) \to X_b+W^+(\to \ell^+ + \nu_\ell)$ and in the quasi three-body decay $t(\uparrow) \to X_b+ \ell^+ + \nu_\ell$
Physical Review D, 2018Co-Authors: M. Fischer, Stefan Groote, J. G. KörnerAbstract:We identify the $T$-odd structure functions that appear in the description of polarized top quark decays in the sequential decay $t(\uparrow) \to X_b+W^+(\to \ell^+ + \nu_\ell)$ (two structure functions) and the quasi-three-body decay $t(\uparrow) \to X_b+ \ell^+ + \nu_\ell$ (one structure function). A convenient measure of the magnitude of the $T$-odd structure functions is the contribution of the imaginary part Im $g_R$ of the right-chiral tensor coupling $g_R$ to the $T$-odd structure functions which we work out. Contrary to the case of QCD the NLO electroweak corrections to polarized top quark decays admit of absorptive one-loop Vertex contributions. We analytically calculate the imaginary parts of the relevant four electroweak one-loop Triangle Vertex diagrams and determine their contributions to the $T$-odd helicity structure functions that appear in the description of polarized top quark decays.
