    Abstract:

    To be creative, employees need to take risks and to take risks, courage plays an important role. This study examined the relationship between Behavioural courage and innovative Work Behaviour and also explored the possible effects of managerial level and gender on this relationship. Data were collected from 273 employees Working at different managerial levels in public sector organisations of Pakistan. The results showed that Behavioural courage was positively associated with innovative Work Behaviour. We found that managerial level moderated the effects of Behavioural courage on innovative Work Behaviour. Our results also revealed moderating effect of gender on the association between Behavioural courage and innovative Work Behaviour. Implications of these findings and future directions are discussed.

    Abstract:

    Organisations must inspire employees to display innovative Work Behaviour and share knowledge with their co-Workers as both are very important for academia, as well as industry. The purpose of this article is to examine the mediating effect of knowledge sharing Behaviour on the relationship of P-O fit and perceived organisational support POS with innovative Work Behaviour IWB. The study also assesses the effect of P-O fit and perceived organisational support on innovative Work Behaviour of hotel employees. Data were gathered from 463 employees and 65 supervisors from five leading hotels of China. The results of the study indicate that P-O fit and perceived organisational support both positively affect knowledge sharing Behaviour. Knowledge sharing Behaviour, person-organisation fit and perceived organisational support are positively related with innovative Work Behaviour. Knowledge sharing Behaviour acts as a partial mediator between P-O fit and IWB, as well as between POS and IWB. This research highlighted the importance of knowledge sharing Behaviour to engender innovative Work Behaviour in the hotel industry which has been seldom the focus of studies.

    The purpose of this paper is to analyse the moderating role of psychological empowerment on the relationships between authentic leadership and innovative Work Behaviour, as well as transformational leadership and innovative Work Behaviour.,We have applied the mixed-method research on the selected case study. The quantitative field study was conducted on a sample of 126 employees in a multinational technological company. A series of paired sample t-tests were followed by a hierarchical regression analysis to test the hypotheses. The qualitative study consists of a content analysis of in-depth semi-structured interviews with four leaders.,The research provides further confirmation of the positive relationship between leadership and innovative Work Behaviour. Specifically, the results showed that psychological empowerment moderates the relationship between leadership (authentic as well as transformational leadership) and innovative Work Behaviour.,This paper contributed to leadership and innovation literature and provided insights in studying the boundary conditions on the relationship between authentic leadership, as well as transformational leadership, in stimulating innovative Work Behaviour through the moderating role of psychological empowerment. The added value is expanded by introducing the comparison of the two leadership theories.
