  • Taxonomic notes on Lyroglossa and Pteroglossa (Orchidaceae: Spiranthinae): two new generic records for the flora of Rio Grande do Sul
Anais da Academia Brasileira de Ciencias, 2014
Co-Authors: Cristiano Roberto Buzatto, Rodrigo B. Singer, Sergio Augusto De Loreto Bordignon
    Abstract:

Lyroglossa and Pteroglossa (Orchidaceae: Spiranthinae) are first recorded for Rio Grande do Sul. Descriptions, illustrations, taxonomic notes and distribution are presented. We also provide an Artificial Key to distinguish the genera of the “Stenorrhynchos Clade” reported so far in Rio Grande do Sul.

  • Sinningia lutea (Gesneriaceae), a new species from Southern Brazil
    Brittonia, 2012
Co-Authors: Cristiano Roberto Buzatto, Rodrigo B. Singer
    Abstract:

Sinningia lutea (Gesneriaceae) is described and illustrated as a new species from the Pampa Biome, in Southern Brazil. In the literature, this species has hitherto been confused with S. allagophylla from which it can be easily separated using a set of floral and vegetative features (especially corolla color and size and leaf shape). An Artificial Key to separate S. lutea from S. allagophylla and S. curtiflora (another sympatric species, with some morphological similarities) is presented. Some ecological remarks on the differential distribution of S. lutea and S. allagophylla are also made.

  • Sinningia lutea (Gesneriaceae), a new species from Southern Brazil
    Brittonia, 2012
Co-Authors: Cristiano Roberto Buzatto, Rodrigo B. Singer
    Abstract:

• New records of lichen genus thelotrema ach. (Thelotremoid graphidaceae) from South Korea.
    Mycobiology, 2012
Co-Authors: Santosh Joshi, Udeni Jayalal, Jung Shin Park, Jae Seoun Hur
    Abstract:

This study illustrates the status of thelotremoid Graphidaceae in South Korea. The taxonomy and systematics of thelotremoid lichens in the country have recently advanced greatly. Following the earlier known taxa from the group, four new records of the genus Thelotrema are reported and described briefly. An Artificial Key for all known species under thelotremoid group of Graphidaceae from South Korea is also provided.

  • Notes on Species of the Lichen Genus Canoparmelia Elix & Hale in South Korea
    Mycobiology, 2012
Co-Authors: Udeni Jayalal, Santosh Joshi, Jung Shin Park, Jae Seoun Hur
    Abstract:

Detailed descriptions of five species of the lichen genus Canoparmelia Elix & Hale. are presented. Until now, three species of the genus Canoparmelia, including C. apata (Krempelh.) Elix & Hale, C. owariensis (Asah.) Elix, and C. texana (Tuck.) Elix & Hale have been reported in South Korea. Canoparmelia carneopruinata (Zahlbr.) Elix & Hale, C. crozalsiana (de Lesd.) Elix & Hale, and C. ecaperata (Mull. Arg.) Elix & Hale are new to the South Korean lichen flora. An Artificial Key is provided for all species of Canoparmelia, including the three new records.
