Authority citizen Relation in the aspect of the development of e administration

In communication on the Authority-citizen line, the ICT system is increasingly being used as the basis for the development of e-administration. Along with the further development of the Internet, this form of communication will become widespread and will undergo intensification. The article is a theoretical review and may encourage further research and reflection. Presents the analysis of the importance of Internet communication for the development of e-administration. The purpose of the article is to indicate that the new quality in access to information on public matters means that it is becoming faster and more common. New technologies contribute to its creation, which should be perceived as a tool for the transformation of administration and the way public services are provided, and thus the new way of communicating with the society. This paper, therefore, indicates the importance of communication in the Authority-citizen and citizen-Authority Relation for the development of public e-administration. In addition, it was emphasized that proper communication of administration with citizens is considered as a factor that will determine interest in, and thus the development of e-administration.

Authority Relation Mitigate Ex Post Disputes over Trade Value
2013Co-Authors: Yusuke MoriAbstract:We explore why Authority within firms helps trading parties immediately settle ex post disputes over trade value, which are invited by unprogrammed adaptation, despite the possibility of a subordinate’s disobedience to the orders of his boss. By employing three crucial behavioral assumptions (reference-dependent preference, self-serving bias, and shading), we point out that the choice of governance structure affects trading parties’ expectations about outcome of ex post value split and show that a subordinate is likely to obey orders of his boss because he is expected to do so. Nevertheless, our study also points out that such a positive aspect of Authority comes with subordinate’s psychological disutility.

Since, such a collective obligation is beyond the capacity of an individual agent, the agents have to communicate, cooperate, coordinate and negotiate with each other, to achieve the collective task: the fulfilment of the obligation. In this paper we discuss and formalise collective aspects of obligations and commitments. Collective obligations are analysed and formalised in a deontic logic framework. The notions of individual and collective commitment are defined to specify which individual has the responsibility to fulfill an 'internal' obligation as part of the collective obligation. In distributed artificial intelligence (DAI) theories of organisations, it is emphasized that `commitment is a crucial notion to analyse a collective activity or the structure of an organisation. In this paper we give a first attempt to formalise the notion of commitment to determine which plan has to be followed to achieve a joint goal, i.e. the fulfillment of a collective obligation by using several concepts as commitment, delegation and Authority-Relation.

Domain knowledge, ability, and the principal's Authority Relations
The RAND Journal of Economics, 2014Co-Authors: Nadav LevyAbstract:I consider how different managerial traits affect the Authority Relation between a principal and his agent. An increase in the principal's domain knowledge�which enhances his capability to verify the agent's recommendations�leads to an increase in the proportion of the agent's recommendations that are approved, an increase in the agent's initiative, and is unambiguously beneficial to the principal and to the agent. In contrast, an increase in the principal's general ability to explore additional alternatives on his own leads to the principal making a larger proportion of the decisions. This discourages the agent's initiative and can adversely affect the principal.

Organization-speci…c experience augments the principal's ability to verify recommendations presented to him by his agents and also make it easier for him to gather decision-relevant information. The eects of an increase in these two abilities on the decentralization of decision-making and on the agents' initiative are shown to markedly dier. An increase in the principal's veri…cation ability leads to an increase in the share of the decisions made by the agent and to an increase in his initiative and is unambiguously bene…cial. In contrast, an increase in the principal's ability to gather information tends to lead to a larger share of the decisions made by the principal and discourages the agent's initiative.
