    Abstract:

    Abstract The development of more sustainable cements is a challenging but urgent venture. Demand-oriented knowledge formation and the reliance on existing prescriptive standards impede progress towards more sustainable alternatives to conventional cements. None-the-less the last years saw the emergence of a number of technology based start-ups with ambitions to introduce new low-carbon cements as alternatives to traditional Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC). An overall analysis of the Technological Innovation System for cement technology is conducted. This is extended with an investigation of how three start-ups, Celitement, Novacem and Calera perform within this environment. The implementation of new materials requires new types of collaboration between R&D and market actors, a combination of synthetic with the existing analytic knowledge base and redefinition of standards and norms. Moreover, a close cooperation of incumbent actors along the construction value chain is precondition for success of disruptive innovations.

    Abstract:

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis bagaimana pengaruh struktur Modal (DER), earning Per Share, dan kebijakan dividen terhadap nilai perusahaan pada perusahaaan Basic Industry Chemicals yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2014-2018. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif, jenis penelitian adalah Deskriptif kuantitatif, sifat penelitian eksplanatory. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 66 perusahaan Basic Industry chemicals dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purpose sampling berjumlah 14 perusahaan Basic Industry chemicals yang memenuhi kriteria. Metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linear berganda dengan uji asumsi klasik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan secara simultan Struktur Modal, Earning Per Share, dan Kebijakan Dividen secara simultan berpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap Nilai Perusahaanpada perusahaan sektorBasic Industry and Chemicals yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2014-2018 dengan hasil Fhitung ≥ Ftabel 3,213 ≥ 2,74 dan signifikan 0.028 ≤ 0,05. Secara parsial Struktur Modal danEarning Per Sharetidak berpengaruh dantidaksignifikan terhadap Nilai Perusahaan sedangkan Kebijakan Dividen berpengaruh positifdansignifikan terhadap Nilai Perusahaan. Hasil analisis koefisien determinasi diperoleh nilai AdjustedR2 menunjukkan variasi variabel Nilai Perusahaan yang dapat dijelaskan oleh variasi variabel Struktur Modal, Earning Per Share dan Kebijakan Dividen sebesar 8,8% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 91,2% dijelaskan oleh variasi variabel lainnya.

    ABSTRACT: Sweeping changes have occurred in US cities since the 1960s. Demographic shifts have increased the population and political strength of suburbs. The economy has become globalized and many urban areas have been seriously affected by the reorganization of Basic Industry. Additionally, the nation is confronted with a deficit of immense proportions. This paper examines the influence of these trends on urban policy intiatives over the past four decades. US urban policy is critically explored and analyzed. The need for a national urban policy is stressed. The authors conclude that both major political parties have failed to place cities at the center of domestic policy and suggest ways to create a national urban policy.
