The paper introduces the shear lag effect of the thin-walled Box Girder and its variation calculation methods,illustrates the process of the shear lag effect of the Box Girder of the variation calculation by combining with the cantilevel Box Girder of the factual bridge,and proves by the results that the influence of the shear lag effect can not be neglected in the bridge structure of the thin-walled Box Girder,so it can be the important factor influencing the design.

On the basis of the theory of thin-walled member,the continuity of warping in analysis of bending shearing flow and warping shearing flow in thin-walled Box–Girder is studied.With the continuity condition of warping,the formula of warping shearing flow in restrained torsion of thin-walled Box–Girder is established.The error in relevent references is pointed out and corrected.The warping shearing flow in a cantilever Box Girder under restrained torsion is calculated.
