Practice of the training model for vocational Nursing students

After five years practice,we have constructed the training model with"early the same,late to different directions",which provided the foundation for the specialized training of Nursing students.

Experiences of Male Nursing Students in Simulation Training for Maternal and Child Nursing Care
Clinical Simulation in Nursing, 2017Co-Authors: Gisoo Shin, Sunghee Kim, Yoon Kyoung LeeAbstract:Abstract Background The purpose of this study was to explore experiences of simulation for maternal and Child Nursing in male Nursing students in Korea. Method Two human patient simulators, a pregnant woman underwent emergency Childbirth and a premature newborn infant, were developed. After 14 male students completed simulation, data were collected through interviews and analyzed by Colaizzi's phenomenological analysis. Results Educational, professional, and personal dimensions emerged from 5 theme clusters under which 11 themes were classified. Five theme clusters included vicarious role-training experiences, machine–human interaction, gender segregation at work, life-stage challenge to fatherhood, and development of future roles. Conclusion Simulation for maternal and Child Nursing provided male Nursing students with a viable alternative to clinical practicum.

Application of scene simulation teaching method in the practice teaching of Maternal-Child Nursing
Chinese Journal of Nursing Education, 2009Co-Authors: Zhang Yu-honAbstract:Objective To discuss the application effect of scene simulation teaching method on the practice teaching of Maternal-Child Nursing. Methods In the Nursing students enrolled in 2007,two classes (114 students) were randomly selected as experimental group,and two classes (114 students) were randomly selected as control group. The former adopted scene simulation teaching method,they were investigated with self -designed questionnaire of self -rating abilities;while the latter adopted conventional teaching method. The results of self-rating and final examinations of the two groups were analyzed. Results In the experimental group,90.0% students thought that the scene simulation teaching method was helpful to combine theory with practice,95.1% students thought that the teaching method was helpful to deepen the understanding and memory of the practical knowledge,89.3% students thought that the teaching method was helpful to cultivate their clinical thinking abilities,96.0% students thought that the teaching method was helpful to improve their communication abilities,90.4% students thought that the teaching method was helpful to strengthen their practical abilities,87.0% students thought that the teaching method was helpful to build their team spirit. The grades of practical test and theory test in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P0.001). Conclusions Scene simulation teaching method contributes to improving Nursing students' comprehensive abilities and teachers’ teaching level.
