    Abstract:

    The standard of river diversion during construction is one of decisive factors affecting economy and security of diversion,at the same time it is reference of training works size design,so diversion standard is critical to embody economy and technique policy in hydraulic and hydroelectric projects.Overflow earth-rock Cofferdam is broadly used for its indigenous materials and low cost.Based on former results,actual observational data and Tanken hydropower station hydraulic structural model tests,the factors affecting the operating condition of earth-rock overtopped Cofferdam are systematically analyzed.A method was worked out for measuring the worst operating condition and determining the worst discharge of overtopped Cofferdam during construction stage.

    Abstract:

    Steel-sheet-pile Cofferdam has been widely used in construction of water caps in rivers and lakes.Because the hydro geological environment is erratic,the safety of the Cofferdam is difficult to ensure.In view of this,for the steel-sheet-pile Cofferdam of Erqi Yangtze River Bridge during construction,stress states of internal braces of the Cofferdam in different working-cases were measured.Based on the assumption that the Cofferdam bottom is articulated,three-dimensional FEM analysis model was established using SAP2000.The calculated results were compared with the measurements,which showed that both are consistent.
