    2012
    Co-Authors: Gang Liu, Ying Wang
    Abstract:

The utility model relates to the field of Cable belts, and in particular relates to a halogen-free flame retardant copper-plastic composite belt, wherein the copper-plastic composite belt is wrapped on the outside surface of a Communication Cable or an optical Cable; the copper-plastic composite belt comprises a red copper layer and a halogen-free flame retardant polyester film layer in sequence; and the copper-plastic composite belt comprises the red copper layer, an adhesive layer and the halogen-free flame retardant polyester film layer in sequence. Because the copper-plastic composite belt with the flame retardant performance is provided, the use safety is increased, and the product application range is expanded. Due to adoption of halogen-free flame retardant, no environmental pollution is generated.

  • Electromagnetic coupling of twisted pair Cables
IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications, 2002
    Co-Authors: R. Stolle
    Abstract:

Increasing deployment of digital subscriber line (DSL) technology operating in the long wave, medium wave and sometimes short wave frequency ranges, has raised the question of how such systems interact with rival radio frequency sources and equipment. Two of the major standards bodies in the field, ITU and ETSI, imposed by the standardization of such promising technologies like ADSL, SHDSL and VDSL, have begun to elaborate performance tests for radio frequency interference (RFI) scenarios for inclusion into their standards documents. Existing out-door loops of the copper telephone network can have large dimensions, are often unshielded and sometimes not even twisted, thus, they can act like antennas for both RFI egress and ingress. The RFI egress issue requires basic knowledge of the relationship between a given current distribution I(l) on a twisted pair Communication Cable and the electromagnetic fleld E, H generated by that current distribution at a given distance d. This problem is reciprocal to the RFI ingress issue, which requires knowledge of the relationship between a disturbing high-frequency electric field E in the surroundings of a twisted pair Cable, and the terminal voltage of that Cable across a load impedance. This contribution provides the theoretical background to the field theoretical problem and supplies simple yet accurate approximation formulae for the prediction of RFI egress and RFI ingress.

Co-Authors: Li Wenjun, Liu Gang, Wang Ying
    Abstract:

The invention relates to the field of Cable belts, in particular to a copper-plastic composite belt suitable for a Communication Cable and an optical Cable and preparation thereof. The copper-plastic composite belt is coated on the outer surface of the Communication Cable or the optical Cable and sequentially comprises a red copper layer (1), an adhesive layer (2) and a polyester film layer (3), wherein the red copper layer (1), the adhesive layer (2) and the polyester film layer (3) are bonded and heated to form a composite structure. The tensile strength of the copper-plastic composite belt is larger than or equal to 180MPa, the elongation at break of the copper-plastic composite belt is larger than or equal to 15%, the interlayer peeling strength between a copper belt and a plastic layer is larger than or equal to 15N/cm, the conductivity of the copper-plastic composite belt is larger than or equal to 90% IACS, and no punchthrough happens on the single side of the copper-plastic composite belt 1 kvd.c,1min.

  • integrated system of white led visible light Communication and power line Communication
Personal Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications, 2002
    Co-Authors: Toshihiko Komine, Masao Nakagawa
    Abstract:

White LEDs offer advantageous properties such as high brightness, reliability, lower power consumption and long lifetime. The biggest potential application for white LEDs is general illumination and lighting. Indoor wireless optical Communication systems employing white LED lighting have been proposed. This system is able to offer high QoS due to the high power from this lighting equipment. However, it is difficult for existing offices and households to install the Communication Cable to the ceiling. An easy wiring system for optical Communication using existing power-lines is proposed. This system is emitted as visible-light from LED lighting according to the transmitted signal waveform without demodulating the signal from the power-line. This system is expected to be appliCable from the existing lighting easily like exchanging electric bulbs. This integrated system can have a big impact as a new signal transmission system and its economical effect can be great. The basic performance of this system is analyzed. The actual system is built and its feasibility is shown through experiments.

  • Integrated system of white LED visible-light Communication and power-line Communication
IEEE International Symposium on Personal Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications PIMRC, 2002
    Co-Authors: Toshihiko Komine, Masao Nakagawa
    Abstract:

White LED offers advantageous properties such as high brightness, reliability, lower power consumption and long lifetime. Indoor optical wireless Communication systems employing white LED lighting have been proposed. This system will enable high quality of service by the high radiation power from this lighting equipment. And, this system does not cause or suffer from radio or electromagnetic interference. But, it is difficult for existing offices and households to install the Communication Cable to the ceiling. In this paper, an easy wiring system for optical Communication using the existing power-line is proposed. This system is emitted as visible-light from LED lighting according to the transmitted signal waveform without demodulating the signal from the power-line. This system is expected to be appliCable from the existing illuminant easily like exchanging electric bulbs. This integrated system will surely have a big impact as a new signal transmission system and its economical effect will be great. The basic performance of this system is analyzed. The actual system is built and its feasibility is shown through experiments.
