Moreover, because Web pages as personal portal depend on that program, those pages can't always be useful for each user equally. To solve these problem, we develop two kinds of new Web service which are realized on the network introducing DACS Scheme, which is the network management scheme by Communication control of client computers. By use of these Web Services, regardless of information starage form, each user can create the customized personal portal to use information on the network easily and freely for oneself. That is, a free information usage system is realized.

New Web Service Based on Extended DACS Scheme

It will be useful to send the related information to respective users by using Web pages. The related information is gathered by the search and extraction of user’s information in databases. Then, it will be notified to user by the program such as CGI on the server. To realize these processings, a large-scaled mechanism will be needed to gather the distributed data on the network and to create Web pages, dynamically. Therefore, a new Web Services based on the extended DACS Scheme is proposed and examined. The DACS Scheme is developed by authors. In the new Web Service, it is possible to display the information related to user only by inputting an URL on Web Browser. As the result, it is possible to display the information on the window divided by the frames on Web Browser. Then, the information is extracted from each server. If the static Web page can be created in HTML, user can create the useful Web page efficiently and freely. The new application form of the information usage is developed by using the proposed extended DACS Scheme.

A Molecular Optical Channel Model based on Phonon-Assisted Energy Transfer Phenomenon

Leveraging on these premises, we consider upconversion phenomenon , namely the ability of specific nanoparticles to convert low energy radiations (e.g., near-infrared radiations) into higher energy radiation (e.g., visible light) via a non-linear process. Energy transfer as viable Communication Mean has been already considered based on Förster-Resonance-Energy Transfer. In this paper, we focus on Phonon-Assisted Energy Transfer, and we analyze the requirements and conditions for generating optical signals from a genuine signal processing point of view. More specifically, based on information theory approach, we derive the conditions to minimize the error probability. We show that the dopant concentration (i.e., concentration of elements drugging a pure material in order to change its features) mostly influences the correct generation of the light signal. The performed analysis is based on experimental results taken from [1], [2].

An Acoustic Communication Technique of Nanorobot Swarms for Nanomedicine Applications

We consider a swarm of nanorobots able to communicate in a distributed and decentralized fashion, propelled in a biological environment (i.e., the human brain). Each nanorobot is intended to i) recognize a cancer cell, ii) destroy it, and then iii) forward information about the presence of cancer formation to other nanorobots, through acoustic signals. The choice of acoustic waves as Communication Mean is related to the application context, where it is not advisable either to use indiscriminate chemical substances or electromagnetic waves. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is assessed in terms of achievement of the objective (i.e., to destroy the majority of tumor cells), and the velocity of detection and destruction of cancer cells, through a comparison with other related techniques.
