Nuclear Engineering and Design, 1998Co-Authors: Tohru FukanoAbstract:Abstract A constant-electric-current method (CECM) developed by the present author is a kind of conductance method. The characteristics of the CECM are (1) a Constant-Current Power Source is used for supplying the electric Power and (2) two kinds of electrodes are installed. One is used for supplying electric Power and the other is for detecting the information of hold-up or film thickness. The main merits of the CECM are (1) the output from the sensor electrode is independent of the location of gas phase, for example radial location in a tube cross-section, (2) the sensitivity of detecting the change in the hold-up is higher in the case of the thinner film thickness, and (3) the interaction among the electrodes is negligible. The basic idea, calibration and examples of the application of the CECM will be discussed in the present paper.

A platform is arranged at the top of the lamp post; adjustable stand posts are arranged at the four corners of the platform for supporting the solar panel; an electric box is arranged on the platform, and the storage battery and the control module are arranged in the electric box; the lamp is arranged at the upper part in the lamp post and is connected with the same by a cantilever; the lamp comprises a carbon alloy lamp shell, an LED lamp board and a Constant-Current Power Source; and the solar panel, the storage battery, the control module and the lamp are connected through lead wires. The LED solar road lamp can be used for effectively solving a problem of heat radiation and heat insulation of the conventional solar road lamp, and overcoming a defect that the constant-voltage driving light-emitting Power is instable. The efficiency and the uniformity degree of the lamp can be improved; double-module Power supply ensures continuity of Power supply application. Furthermore, the storage battery and the control module are arranged at the top of the lamp post, so as to achieve convenience in maintenance, high security and beautiful appearance.
