physical social aware d2d content sharing networks a provider demander matching game
IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, 2018Co-Authors: Liang Zhou, Yueming Cai, Hanchieh Chao, Yi QianAbstract:Device-to-device content sharing is widely considered as an effective response to the prevalence of multimedia content sharing and local services. To ensure its advantages, how to optimally match potential providers to demanders of contents is of importance, especially considering the randomness of content location, as well as the coexistence of altruistic, selfish, and even malicious user behaviors. Accordingly, for such a matching process, it is advisable to achieve a win–win solution, rather than sacrificing performance of either potential providers or demanders. In this work, we employ the weighted directed graph theory to model the two-sided physical–social-aware preferences, which jointly exploit the physical and social networking characteristics of both sides. Then, we study the two-sided physical–social-aware matching problem, which essentially involves the joint issue of pairing scheduling and power control with respect to potential providers and demanders. To solve it in a tractable manner, the former is cast as a two-sided one-to-one matching game, in which the potential providers and demanders rank one another by using the proposed preferences, and the latter is transformed into the preference profile establishment of this matching game. Finally, a distributed algorithm based on the Dinkelbach iteration and deferred acceptance approaches is developed. The properties of the resulting stable outcomes are then studied, and the simulation results verify the availability and efficiency of the proposed algorithm.

social aware rate based content sharing mode selection for d2d content sharing scenarios
IEEE Transactions on Multimedia, 2017Co-Authors: Liang Zhou, Yueming CaiAbstract:Device-to-device (D2D) content sharing has become a promising solution to support the growing popularity of multimedia contents for local services. Considering the randomness of content location, the limited storage and transmission capability of devices, and the coexistence of altruistic and selfish user behaviors, how to optimally match the demanders to the providers of contents and how to stimulate an efficient cooperation are of importance for achieving the full benefits of D2D content sharing. Especially when the base-station-to-device (B2D), D2D, and novel multi-D2D sharing modes coexist, the issue of content sharing mode selection plays the predominant role in such matching. In this paper, we introduce a notion of social-aware rate, which combines the social selfishness from the social knowledge with the link rate to ensure the physical link quality and the effective cooperation together. Then, the social-aware rate-based content sharing mode selection problem is modeled as a maximum weighted mixed matching problem, which can be computationally reduced to a submodular welfare problem subject to a matroid constraint. Subsequently, we develop a best-effort distributed algorithm framework, which displays alternatives of various computation complexities and approximation ratios to satisfy the diverse practical needs.

This paper analyzes the quality of the sewage that flows into the San Pedro River without treatment in the parish of Uyumbicho, Cantón Mejía, due to the constant growth of the population, which reflects an increase in wastewater. For this, it is important to design a treatment plant that complies with the maximum permissible limits established by current environmental regulations through internal and external analysis of the physical, chemical and microbiological parameters in order to measure the units of the treatment train with a study of economic, technical and social sustainability for its implementation and operation. Prior to a 25-year population projection and design flow, In reference to the biodegradability index that is defined as "very degradable" organic matter, which establishes the design of a physical, chemical and biological treatment that consists of: inlet channel, sieve, desander, coagulant dosing spillway, flocculator, settler and stabilization ponds, in addition a space is allocated for the storage of sludge, simultaneously the treatability test and statistical analysis SPSS justifies as the best coagulant-flocculant Aluminum Sulfate Al2 (SO4) 3 with an optimal dose of 0.5 g / L, for the population of the urban area which has a sewage system, determining a design flow of 443.23 m3 / day that corresponds to the future population of 5541 inhabitants in 2046.The approximate construction budget is $ 205 239.79, financed by the GAD of the Parish of Uyumbicho in conjunction with the Municipality of the Cantón Mejía for the welfare of the population, as well as the environment

Pollution is a problem that has been increasing over the years, and this is a very important issue today. Natural resources are being affected to a great extent, which is why projects that contribute to environmental management have been created in collaboration with public and private entities. The purpose of this project is to present an alternative to the treatment of domestic wastewater in the province of Cotopaxi, Mulaló parish, specifically in the consolidated area, which is made up of 5 neighborhoods and a subdivision, with the construction of a wastewater treatment that complies with the permissible discharge limits to a fresh water source based on current environmental regulations.
