    Abstract:

    The tropical fat snook Centropomus parallelus is a species of recognized ecological importance and with a high economical potential for fisheries and aquaculture. The investigations of Digestive Tube morphology in association with their feeding abilities are fundamental to improve techniques for aquaculture feeding procedures. Sudan black staining and Perl`s method were used to evaluate their absorption capacity of fat and protein respectively. The Sudan black stain was performed 12 h after the ingestion of lipids. The lipids are intensely absorbed in the ceca epithelium and less intensely in the intestine and rectum. The Perl`s method was performed 12 h after the ingestion of ferritin. The proteins are absorbed only in the rectum. This is the first description of fat and protein absorption ability by the Digestive Tube of fat snook. These data enhance the possibility of the addition of macromolecules in rations that can show a diversity of physiological effects. The histological implications of each segment of the Digestive Tube in association with fish biology are further discussed. (C) 2010 Elsevier B.V.     To explore the configuration and distribution of the Digestive Tube argentaffine cell of Anura Amphibians. Method: By taking the Digestive Tubes of Bufo Bufo gargarians and Rana nigromacutala and Rana limnocharis were routinely embedded with paraffin and sectioned in series and stained with improved Long Guikai's and Fortana - messon' s silve staining method, The configuration, distribution and delsity of the Digestive Tube argentaffine cells were observed and sun eyed. Results and conclusion: The argentaffine cells arc distrib- uted in epithelium and gland of tunica mucosa from the ending part oesophagus to cloaca. The density of argentaffine cells is wavy from the beginning to end of Digestive Tube, it has three peaks in cardia, pylorus and the end of inteslinum tenue. The configuration and volune of the argentaffine cells are related with their position.

    Objective: To explore the configuration and distribution of the Digestive Tube argentaffine cell of Bufo bufo Gargarizans. Methods: With the help of Long Guikai' s silver staning, each part of the Digestive Tube of Bufo bufo Gar-garizans were routinely embedded with paraffin sectiond in series, and observed. Results; The argentaffine cells were distributed in the cardia and all the rest Digestive Tube below. The density was higher in ventriculus, duodenum and the end of intestinum tenue, mainly between or near the gastric gland mucous cells in ventriculus and the rest part mainly in epithelium of tunica mucosa and intestinal gland. There was also a small area of high densely distribution in the gastric gland of the duodenum. ProTuberances often appeared on argentaffine cells and the configuration of the cells were related with their positions. The argentaffine cell emitted argentophile granules to Digestive Tube. Conclusion; More argentaffine cells are distributed at 2 ends of Digestive Tube, while less in the middle. Their configuration may be related to the extrusion, the volume to distributing density. The secretion of argentaffine cell is either through the liquid of Digestive Tube or through paracrine secretion.
