  • On the Extremum property of electron density Functions in position and momentum spaces
    Chemical Physics Letters, 2001
    Co-Authors: Toshikatsu Koga
    Abstract:

Abstract For statistically uncorrelated wave Functions, the electron density ρ(r) is known to be an Extremum Function of the generalized electron-pair density g(q;a,b), which smoothly connects ρ(r), the electron-pair intracule (relative motion) density h(u), and the electron-pair extracule (center-of-mass motion) density d(R). The present systematic examination of the numerical Hartree–Fock results of moments 〈rn〉, 〈un〉, 〈Rn〉 and density values at the origin ρ(0), h(0), d(0) for 102 neutral atoms and 96 singly charged ions suggests that ρ(r) is local maximum for a small q and is local minimum for a large q of the Function g(q;a,b). Analogous results are obtained for the momentum-space counterparts Π(p) and g (t;a,b) .

  • A generalized electron-pair density Function for atoms
The Journal of Chemical Physics, 2001
    Co-Authors: Toshikatsu Koga
    Abstract:

For many-electron atoms, we discuss a generalized electron-pair density Function g(q;a,b) that represents the probability density Function for the magnitude |ari+brj| of the two-electron vector ari+brj to be q, where a and b are real-valued parameters. It is pointed out that the Function g(q;a,b) connects smoothly the single-electron density ρ(r), the electron-pair intracule (relative motion) density h(r12), and the electron-pair extracule (center-of-mass motion) density d(R). Moreover, ρ(r) is found to be a local Extremum Function of g(q;1,b) with respect to the parameter b. Analogously, the single-electron moments 〈rn〉 are local extrema of the moments 〈qn〉(a,b) associated with g(q;a,b). An illustrative example is given for the helium atom within the Kellner approximation.

  • Algorithm of global Extremum search area definition for several variables Function
    2019
    Co-Authors: Rustam G. Asadullaev, Vladimir V. Lomakin
    Abstract:

The article is devoted to the problem of global Extremum search for several variables Function. A modified algorithm is developed for the search of global Extremum Function, based on evolutionary calculations and differing by the approach of an area development to create an initial population of agents. They developed the algorithm for the Function Extremum search area definition, which ultimately performs the decomposition of the research area into subsets. It is suggested to take into account the knowledge of an expert, an agent and the available group agents. Based on the available knowledge, the region is divided into three subsets with different priorities. At that, the possibility of the Function Extremum drift is taken into account and a separate procedure of a search area definition is implemented, taking into account the retrospective information on the drift of parameters.

  • Parameters Choice Criteria in Harmony Annealing for Function Optimization
    Computer Simulation, 2005
    Co-Authors: Gao Mei-feng
    Abstract:

In this paper, the effects of the parameters in harmony annealing al go rithm for multi-Extremum Function optimization problems are conjectured with a b rief introduction of the algorithm. The conclusions are verified by the numerica l experimental results of several test Functions. Parameter choice criteria of h armony annealing algorithm are concluded based on the analysis and the results, for applications of the algorithm to engineering problems and the further explor ation of adaptive parameter adjustment.
