  • parking Facility Management System parking navigation device and parking navigation System
    2013
Co-Authors: Li Yongfu, Li Yinguo, Cheng Anyu, Zhou Weibo, Deng Shunping, Cen Ming, Li Rui, Dou Guangjian
    Abstract:

The invention discloses a parking Facility Management System, a parking navigation device and a parking navigation System. Due to the fact that the parking Facility Management System acquires user vehicle information at an entrance and an exit respectively and acquires parking place information of all parking places in a parking Facility, wherein the parking place information comprises the position information of the parking places, occupied states, the user vehicle information of the occupied parking places and the like, the parking place information is stored in a local data base and a cloud terminal data base, not only is the parking Facility Management System convenient to manage and are a large number of manpower sources not needed, but also users can acquire parking place conditions in all nearby parking facilities from the cloud terminal data base through the parking navigation device, and therefore appropriate parking facilities/parking places are convenient to find out rapidly, and further resources are saved. The parking Facility Management System, the parking navigation device and the parking navigation System provide double convenience for vehicle owners and parking lots, working efficiency is improved, resource utilization is optimized, the parking Facility Management System and the parking navigation System are simple in structure, data are transmitted mostly in a wireless mode, and the parking Facility Management System, the parking navigation device and the parking navigation System are easy to mount.

  • Web-Based Intelligent RFID Facility Maintenance Systems
Lecture Notes in Mechanical Engineering, 2018
    Co-Authors: Chien Ho Ko
    Abstract:

Recently, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology has been regard as one important technology for improving Management efficiency. This study aims to enhance Facility maintenance by integrating RFID, web-based, and artificial intelligence techniques. To achieve the goal, threes modules are developed where data Management module is used for collecting Facility maintenance records. The second module, i.e. statistical module, is used to display the maintenance records graphically. The third module, a prediction module, is established to predict maintenance operations using fuzzy neural networks. A web-based RFID Facility Management System is then developed to provide functions of these three modules. The applicability of RFID technology to Facility maintenance is tested using environmental challenges. This research validates the performance of the developed System by a real case study. Validation results indicate RFID technology is appropriate for practical maintenance environments. The proposed RFID System can improve Facility data transfer, Management efficiency, data quality, planning, malfunction prevention, and service process time.

  • Web-based radio frequency identification Facility Management Systems
    Structure and Infrastructure Engineering, 2013
Co-Authors: Chien Ho Ko, Chuang Chun Chiou
    Abstract:

The operational life of a Facility is extended through regular functional maintenance. The objective of this study is to enhance Facility Management efficiency using radio frequency identification (RFID) technology. A data Management module is first developed to collect maintenance records. A statistical module is then established to graphically display the collected data. Maintenance activities are sequenced using a scheduling module to ensure that the Facility functions normally. A forecast module is developed using fuzzy neural networks to avoid Facility malfunction before the next maintenance. These four modules are integrated into a web-based RFID Facility Management System. System performance is validated using an actual building. Two RFID apparatuses are invented based on operational needs when implementing the developed System. The validation results show that integrating RFID technology with a web-based System, database, scheduling theory, artificial intelligence and enhancing apparatuses can imp...

  • A Study on the Building of Road Facilities Management System - Focused on Bridge and Tunnel -
    1998
    Co-Authors: Woon-yong Park, Soon-heon Hong
    Abstract:

This paper deals with the building of road Facility Management System lot the efficient and scientific Management of road infrastructure by making use of Database with a variety of biridge and tunnel - related informations such as maps, registers and documents(graphical and nongraphical data). The main objectives of the creating of the Database are the rational maintenance planning for facilities and the Systematization of information Management through the fast updating, mending and supplement. Some actual data sourced from the administrative office could be tested in order to validate this road Facility Management System and we could acquire many valuable results. Therefore we can expect to play an important role of results in the practical use for the Management of the various md facilities.

  • Smart device based power generation Facility Management System in smart grid
2015 17th International Conference on Advanced Communication Technology (ICACT), 2015
    Co-Authors: Young-jae Lee, Eung-kon Kim
    Abstract:

As energy consumption is gradually increased due to rapid development of industrialization, the whole world including our country is faced with an issue of lack of back-up power, exhaustion of fossil energy and global warming. Under this background, as a method of maximizing energy efficiency by preventing global warming and reduction of greenhouse gas emission, smart grid that converged existing power network with IT technology receives concentrative attention as a growth engine of next generation [1-3]. Currently, maintenance of domestic solar power plant Management is provided at the center through remote monitoring by using measuring sensor being installed at power plant and as regular check-up or repair being performed at site is progressed by site Management personnel by directly moving power generation Facility, there is a difference in time and accuracy depending on ability of site Management personnel. In this paper, a System of managing smart grid power generation Facility by internet of things (IOT) technology is suggested. Maintenance of suggested System for its regular check-up and failure is allowed by site manager conveniently and by using Facility recognition based technology instead of existing QR code, its direct application is allowed without additional equipment to smart grid power generation Facility being operated at present and by developing power generation Facility recognition service using markerless based Facility recognition technology, it may be expanded to a technology of recognizing other smart grid power generation Facility in the future.
