    Abstract:

    On the basis of analyzing the insufficiency of existing protective relaying Fault Information processing system on integrity of protective Information, communication mode of master station and sub-stations, protective Information classification, communication protocols, advanced applications and the limitation of conventional test, based on real time digital simulation (RTDS) the authors propose a dynamic simulation test scheme for protective relaying Fault Information processing system. The proposed dynamic simulation test scheme can effectively test the integrity of protective Information, communication ability and advanced applications of protective relaying Fault Information processing system. In East China Electric Power Test Research Institute the proposed scheme is applied to test the protective relaying Fault Information processing systems provided by different manufacturers and the tests results are satisfied.

    Abstract:

    To be adaptable to smart dispatch,overall renovation of existing protective relaying Fault Information system of North China power grid is performed.The renovation scheme is analyzed in detail in system structure,communication protocol,Information format and Fault diagnosis.Firstly,according to the differences between newly built substations and renovated substations several typical system structures are conceived and proposed,and the necessity of independent networking for protection devices and Fault recorders is analyzed.Then adopting proven technique and combining with related international standards such as IEC 61850 and so on,the speed and quality of Information uploading are improved;based on the standard of extensible markup language(XML) the content of Fault report and the format of HDR are standardized with detail to perfect device Information and Fault character Information,thus in master station system the convenience in Information filtering is swinging implemented.Finally,several different Fault diagnosis methods are explored to improve overall operation level of this system.Actual operational experiences of several months show that the proposed renovation scheme for existing protective relaying Fault Information system is reasonable and effective.

    Abstract:

    An integration platform scheme of energy management system (EMS) relay Fault Information system implemented in Guangzhou Power Supply Bureau is introduced. Based on the platform it is possible to realize maintenance-free of the relay Information system. The platform has characteristics of standardized data model, dual-server and dual-redundant network structure and integration of all the relay protection Information on the central-control dispatching platform. Thus the plaform is an integrity Information database. In terms of hardware, dual-mode parallel workstation and embedded structures are employed by the relay Fault Information system of the plaform. In addition, analysis on the existing problems of the scheme in practice points out that the modeling and management of the secondary device are the key issues to improve the scheme.

    With the development of relay protection based on microcomputer,Fault recorder,electric communication and power automation technology,a technical supporting enviroment to the collection and analysis of relay protection Information is put forward and Fault Information system for relay protection is developed.From the construction and operational experience of power utilities,a conflict that the conformance and compatibility of communication protocol between devices or systems made by different manufacturers is introduced.From the viewpoint of system engineering,the dispatching center of SCG(South China Grid) publishes a detailed criterion for communication and interface of FIS(Fault Information System for Relay Protection),and organizes a conformance and interoperability test between the devices from different manufacturers.A lot of researches and attempts in the field of system construction and quality guarantee of communication protocol are made.

  • Resonance-Based Sparse Decomposition Application in Extraction of Rolling Bearing Weak Fault Information

    Abstract:

    It is significant to detect the Fault type and assess the Fault level as early as possible for avoiding catastrophic accidents. In the early Fault diagnosis of rolling bearing, the vibration signal is mixed with a lot of noise, resulting in the difficulties in analysis of early Fault weak signal. This chapter introduces resonance-based signal sparse decomposition (RSSD) into rolling bearing weak Fault diagnosis, and presents a technical route to extract rolling bearing weak Fault Information. On this basis, we studied the Fault Information contained in high-resonance and low-resonance components. Finally, we combine the main sub-bands of the two resonance components to extract Fault Information and achieve good results. The proposed method is applied to analyze the Fault of rolling element bearing with an approximate hemisphere pit on inner race. The results show that the proposed method could enhance the ability of weak Fault detection of mechanical equipment.

    Abstract:

    In the early Fault diagnosis of rolling bearing, the vibration signal is mixed with a lot of noise, resulting in the difficulties in analysis of early weak Fault signal. This article introduces resonance-based signal sparse decomposition (RSSD) into rolling bearing Fault diagnosis, and studies the Fault Information contained in high resonance component and low resonance component. This article compares the effect of the two resonance components to extract rolling bearing Fault Information in four aspects: the amount of Fault Information, frequency resolution of subbands, sensitivity to noise and immunity to autocorrelation processing. We find that the high resonance component has greater advantage in extraction of rolling bearing Fault Information, and it is able to indicate rolling bearing failure accurately.
