    Abstract:

    In a disaster scenario,energy resources become scarce.It becomes one of the goals of routing scheme that minimize node energy consumption while Forwarding Packet efficiently.Routing scheme of opportunistic network based on grouping strategy is proposed.The nodes of network are grouped in accordance with the characteristics.The role of each group is different.Each group uses different routing strategy.The scheme is based on flooding strategy and can control the degree of flooding with p,k,t parameter.Simulation results show that in different network size,the scheme can be closed to the optimal network cost and achieve high delivery rate.It is a suitable routing scheme for disaster scenario.

    Terminal server plays the role of terminal accessing. Router is a key equipment on Internet and its main function is routing and Forwarding Packet. Once people implement terminal services in router, the number of equipment is reduced and the equipment connecting is greatly simplified and the maintenance of network is more convenient. At the same time, people add multiscreen to terminal services, which greatly enhance termianl services. The authors design a new protocol and a related multiscreen module to solve the two problems mentioned above. And authors have realized the protocol and the module. In fact, the system runs well.

    Abstract:

    A Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) is form over wireless media by the various mobile nodes. In other word we can say if various mobile nodes from a network without any infrastructure, such kind of network is known as Mobile Ad-hoc Network. In MANET communication between two mobile devices are performed by routing protocol. In MANET each mobile node can directly communicate with other mobile node if both mobile nodes are within transmission range. Otherwise the nodes present in between have to forward the Packets for them on network. In such condition each mobile node acts as a router to forward the Packets for others. Forwarding Packet in MANET with limited resources (like bandwidth constraints, hidden terminal and limited battery power) is a very challenging task. Till data may routing protocols were proposed are an improvement over a number of different strategies considered in the literature for a given network. So it is quite difficult to find out which protocol may perform better under different network conditions of MANET. In this survey paper we proved an overview of various routing protocols proposed by various researchers. We will also provide comparative study of all routing protocol to find out the performance of protocol for large MANET.

    Abstract:

    In this paper two all optical Packet Forwarding architectures based on non linear effect in semiconductor optical amplifier in Mach-Zehnder configuration SOA-MZI are studied. The first architecture consist in combing flip flop functionality with the AND logic functionality in the same unit. Error free operation at 40 Gbps for two cascaded nodes is achieved. In the second architecture two separated units namely the flip flop and the AND logic gate are used. 100 Gbps bit rate is reached. At 40 Gbps error free operation is achieved for three cascaded nodes.

  • Detection of wormhole attack in mobile ad-hoc networks

    An ad-hoc network is a group of wireless mobile node that shapes a temporary network without any infrastructure and centralized management. Each mobile node functions are not only restricted to base station but also as router for Forwarding Packets to other mobile nodes in the network. One primary application of Mobile Ad-hoc Networks (MANETs) is for military purpose including the tactical operations where security is often the major concern. The different leaks that threaten the security of wireless network contain, selective Forwarding, wormhole attack, Sybil attack, sinkhole attack and black hole attack. One of the dangerous attacks in mobile ad hoc network is named as wormhole attack in which two or more destructive nodes record the Packets at one point and transmits them by a wired or wireless to another point in the network. Wormhole attack is so strong and detection of this attack is hard. Also, the wormhole attack may cause another type of attacks like Sinkhole or Select Forwarding. The using a cryptographic technique is not enough to prevent wormhole attack. So, in this study, a new method is proposed based on modifying the Forwarding Packet process and also using a delay per hop and expiry time technique to detect wormhole. The performance evaluation of the proposed method is done using a mathematical modeling and simulation.
