J-The Bantam Buiidogs participated in a 6 team tournament in Picture Butte, Nov. 13,14 & 15. Our 1st game was against the home team on Fri. Nov. 13. Are we superstitious? I can't really say yes or no but judging by our luck & the score, I'd say the odds are yes!! The Home Team were very organized, swift & smooth. They skated very well & we had a hard time keeping up. However, we did not give up & kept on skating till the final buzzer. After 60 minutes of play, we skated to the dressing room on the short end of a 16-3 score. Peter faced a total of 66 shots & we managed 13(there goes that number again). Goals: Josh H. 2-1, Dustin M. 1. Assists: Ryan N. 1, Ben W. 1. Penalties: 1 each Josh H., Eric G., Peter L. MVP - Cody Ririe. Sat. Nov. 14 against our rival Raymond. This game was a much better match for us & we managed to stay ahead. The shots on net were fairly equal(29 on us, 26 on them) for the 1st time this year & with this came a 5-2 win. The entire team played well & had their act together. Our final game of the tournament was against Cardston Sun. Nov. 15. We played extremely well for the 1st 2 periods keeping up with the Thunder, going to the dressing room at the end of the 2nd period tied 2-2. We came out with a blast in 3rd period but let our guard down for approx. 5 min & Cardston took advantage of our "slight breather” & put 2 unanswered goals into the net. We played a league home game on Sat. Nov. 20 vs Great Falls. We had all our players & everyone came prepared to play! Teamwork & passing seemed to be the key as our plays seemed to click & the puck seemed to be on our side. For the 1st time this season we managed to out shoot our opponents 28-23! This was reflected also in our victory score of 10-3. The entire team felt good going to the dressing room with such a decisive win! The Eagles beat Kate Andrews 102-54, with Chad Harris & Jason Wood scoring 25 points, each. Pandas hosted Winston Churchill High on Thurs & won 76-36, Patti Balderson scored 19 pts, Meghann Dahl & Kristyn Tanner each scored 15 pts. The Cubs(J.V. team) won 57-43 with Aleesa Nelson scoring 11 pts, Diane Smith and Tasha Henry each scored 10 pts. Gr. 9 boys beat Hill Spring 103-75, top scorers were Darren Balderson 21, Jon Toone 16, David Bennett 14, J.D. Clark & Chad Peterson 12 points each and Matt Alston 10 pts. He promised to let Albertans decide how the government should re-invest surplus budget money. Klein delivered his standard, and well-known, Alberta Advantage Speech. This paper deals with the procedures how to maintain the highest content of this compound and other nutritional substances and how to prepare the consumer acceptable form of this Juice. The final product—the apple–broccoli Juice functional food (food supplement) was experimentally produced and tested. The high pressure pasteurisation process (500 MPa for 10 min) is capable to inactivate more than 5 log decades of the viable microorganisms present originally in the raw Juice and product is free of coli-form bacteria, yeast, moulds and salmonella during 30 days of storage at the chilled room temperature conditions (temperature up to 5 °C). The high-pressure treated broccoli Juices are comparable in sulforaphane content and anti-mutagenic activity with Frozen version. Freezing of the broccoli before juicing decreased sulforaphane formation. The content of vitamin C depends on the holding time of the pressurisation, but it is independent of pressure level. The sensory quality of the high pressure treated apple–broccoli Juice is comparable with Frozen Juice up to the 70 days of the storage.

Perencanaan home industry multiproduk Frozen Juice “juseu” dengan kapasitas produksi total 1.000 botol (@250ml) per hari

Jayaharto, Hartanto Pransisca, Hertanto YessicaAbstract:Frozen Juice merupakan bentuk modifikasi olahan dari jus buah yang dibekukan pada suhu di bawah 0°C sehingga konsistensinya menjadi padat. Frozen Juice memiliki kelebihan daripada jus buah biasa, yaitu adanya mouthfeel sensasi dingin saat dikunyah akibat kristal es yang terbentuk. Home industry Frozen Juice “JUSEU” akan direncanakan didirikan di Jalan. Tenggilis Utara III No.22, Kecamatan Tenggilis Mejoyo, Surabaya, Jawa Timur. Bentuk badan usaha yang digunakan adalah organisasi lini dengan skala UMKM. Jumlah karyawan yang bekerja sebanyak 2 orang dan 1 pimpinan. Bahan baku yang digunakan dalam usaha Frozen Juice “JUSEU” yaitu buah melon segar, sirsak dan durian dengan total produksi 1.000 botol (@250 mL). Buah sirsak dan durian yang digunakan berupa puree beku yang diperoleh dari pemasok buah. Proses pengolahan Frozen Juice “JUSEU” meliputi thawing (sirsak dan durian), pemotongan, pencampuran, penghancuran, pengemasan dan pembekuan. Masing-masing kemasan dijual dengan harga Rp.12.000 untuk semua varian buah dengan margin keuntungan sebesar 31,35%. Pemasaran produk dilakukan melalui mouth-to-mouth marketing, online marketing dengan menggunakan media sosial seperti Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, dan Line, serta dijual di toko-toko atau supermarket atau minimarket yang terbatas hanya pada area Surabaya. Selain itu proses distribusi juga dijalankan dengan menggunakan jasa “Go-Jek” atau “Grab” dengan biaya pengiriman dibebankan pada konsumen. Usaha Frozen Juice “JUSEU” memiliki total modal sebesar Rp. 202.240.00 dengan laju pengembalian sebelum pajak sebesar 154,427%, dan sesudah pajak sebesar 152,883%. Waktu Pengembalian sebelum pajak ialah 7,6 bulan sedangkan setelah pajak ialah 7,7 bulan. Usaha ini memiliki titik impas BEP sebesar 52,92%. GabrovskaAbstract:Abstract The high pressure pasteurisation is capable to preserve the nutritional substances in Juices such as sulforaphane in broccoli Juice. This paper deals with the procedures how to maintain the highest content of this compound and other nutritional substances and how to prepare the consumer acceptable form of this Juice. The final product—the apple–broccoli Juice functional food (food supplement) was experimentally produced and tested. The high pressure pasteurisation process (500 MPa for 10 min) is capable to inactivate more than 5 log decades of the viable microorganisms present originally in the raw Juice and product is free of coli-form bacteria, yeast, moulds and salmonella during 30 days of storage at the chilled room temperature conditions (temperature up to 5 °C). The high-pressure treated broccoli Juices are comparable in sulforaphane content and anti-mutagenic activity with Frozen version. Freezing of the broccoli before juicing decreased sulforaphane formation. The content of vitamin C depends on the holding time of the pressurisation, but it is independent of pressure level. The sensory quality of the high pressure treated apple–broccoli Juice is comparable with Frozen Juice up to the 70 days of the storage.
