    Abstract:

    Freehand drawing is one of the most flexible and efficient ways of expressing creative ideas. However, it can often also be tedious and technically challenging to animate complex dimensional environments or dynamic choreographies. We present a case study of how freehand drawing tools can be integrated into an end-to-end 3D content creation platform to reap the benefits from both worlds. Creative opportunities and challenges in achieving this type of integration are discussed. We also present examples from short films demonstrating the potential of how these techniques can be deployed in production environments.

    Abstract:

    Skripsi “Gedung Sundial Kota Baru Parahyangan Sebagai Objek Berkarya Seni Grafis” ini dilatar belakangi oleh ketertarikan terhadap pentingnya waktu dengan mengambil objek bangunan ini sebagai simbolisasi waktu dengan memvisualisasikannya pada karya seni grafis proses cetak datar teknik alumunium lithografi atau alugrafi, pada abad ke-18 lithografi ini dipakai untuk mencetak gambar pada media informasi, hal ini menjadi inspirasi tersendiri untuk menyampaikan informasi dengan mengembangkan konsep serta memvisualisasikan gambar gedung Sundial Kota Baru Parahyangan pada karya seni grafis teknik alumunium lithografi. Metode yang digunakan pada penciptaan karya seni grafis yaitu melalui proses kontemplasi dan stimulasi pada penemuan ide serta teknik yang digunakan. Proses cetak datar teknik alumunium lithografi ini melalui tahapan persiapan alat dan bahan yang digunakan yaitu plat alumunium, gom arab, Phosporic Acid (asam pospor), Asphaltum, ampelas, pensil lemak, tinta cetak, Roll ink, dan kertas, dilanjutkan proses pengerjaan karya. Penciptaan karya seni grafis teknik alugrafi menampilkan enam karya dengan bermacam-macam ukuran serta mengusung konsep yang bersifat berkesinambungan terhadap fungsi jam Matahari dan analogi waktu. Pemilihan warna pada karya seni grafis teknik alugrafi ini memilih warna komplementer, warna yang berkesan berlawanan satu sama lain, namun pada setiap karya dominan warna biru karena hampir semua karya mengambil suasana terang berawan untuk memunculkan fungsi jam Matahari pada gedung, selain itu warna pada gedung merupakan warna kontras dimana warna tersebut adalah warna gedung Sundial Kota Baru Parahyangan yang sebenarnya. Komposisi pada karya memakai sudut pandang eye level yang dimaksudkan untuk memfokuskan pandangan mata pada gedung yang utuh demi mewujudkan harapan penyampaian informasi yang jelas tentang pengetahuan jam Matahari khususnya gedung Sundial Kota Baru Parahyangan kepada masyarakat luas. Kata kunci: Sundial dan Alugrafi. Thesis " Building a New City Sundial Parahyangan As Object Graphic Art Work " is motivated by an interest in the importance of taking time with the object of building this as a symbol of time to visualize the artwork graphic flat printing process lithography techniques or alugrafi aluminum , in the 18th century lithography this is used to print images on media information , it became the inspiration for conveying information to develop the concept and visualize a picture of the New City Sundial Parahyangan aluminum graphic art lithography techniques . The method used in the creation of works of graphic art that is through the process of contemplation and stimulate the discovery of new ideas and techniques used . Aluminum flat printing process lithography technique is through the stages of preparation tools and materials used are aluminum plate , gum arabic , Phosporic Acid ( phosphorus acid ) , Asphaltum , emery , Grease Pencil , ink printing , Roll ink , and paper , followed the process of the work . Creation of graphic artwork featuring six works alugrafi technique with a variety of sizes as well as carrying concept that is continuous with the function of clock time the Sun and analogy . Selection of color in graphic artwork alugrafi technique is choosing complementary colors , colors opposite each other impression , but in every work of dominant blue color because almost all the work of taking the atmosphere to bring functions cloudy bright sun clock on the building , in addition to the color of the building is contrasting colors where the color is the color of the building Sundial New Town Parahyangan true . The composition of the work wear eye -level viewpoints that are intended to focus the eye on the whole building in order to bring the hope of delivering clear information about the particular building knowledge Sundial Sun Clock New Town Parahyangan to the general public .
