New Tensile Stress Detection Device of Mine Hoisting Steel Wire Rope
Coal Engineering, 2013Co-Authors: Li FengAbstract:In order to ensure a safety application of the mine Hoisting Equipment,based on the traditional marking method applied to detect the tensile of the steel wire rope,a new tensile stress detection device of the mine Hoisting steel wire rope was designed.The device fully with the mechatronics and hydraulic integrated technology could quantitatively detect the tensile stress of the mine Hoisting steel wire rope with the detection and calculation of the tensile stress of the steel wire rope.The paper had a detail analysis study on the detection principle of the steel wire rope tensile stress firstly.Secondary the tensile stress detection device of the steel wire rope was designed and the 2D graph and 3D graph were drawn.Finally a principle analysis was conducted on the detection sensors of the hydraulic oil circuit,oil temperature and oil pressure as well as the signal treatment.The results showed that the detection device had a good detection effect in the lab experiment process.

Safety Monitoring Method of Hoisting Equipment Based on Pressure Measuring

The method of measuring hydraulic leg forces by weighing sensor to judge safety for the Hoisting Equipment is adopted in this scheme. By analyzing stress of Hoisting Equipment, the mathematical model of boom's azimuth, pitch angle, Working range and load. The safety monitoring system is designed. This system can display boom's various working state. Consequently, real-time safety monitoring of the Hoisting Equipment working process is realized.

Voices and choices for disabled children and young people about participation in recreational activities: Creating their future stories with collage.

It is unknown what disabled C & YP think about the potential health and wellbeing effects (H & WB) of participation in recreational activities. The aims were to: • Explore disabled YP’s perceived H & WB effects of participation in recreational activities. • Facilitate YP to explore their future participation. Patients and Methods A consultation event was held with a group of disabled young people using a focus group and collage activity exploring ‘Fun’ and ‘Fitness’ and their ‘Future’ aspirations for participation (Mannay, 2015). An interpretative phenomenological analysis approach was used, coding for conceptual, descriptive and linguistic components to identify common themes (Smith et al, 2013). Results Seven disabled young people took part, three males, four females aged 14-30 years. All spoke verbally, one YP had cerebral palsy limiting her own participation in the collage activity. Themes which emerged included access to Hoisting Equipment and transport. Those engaged in community activities spoke of enhanced motivation to try new opportunities, describing helpful attitudes. There were mixed views about perceived H & WB effects resulting from participation in recreational activities with only three participants featuring this in their collages. Conclusion This data has informed the future direction of the study where C & YP will be recruited to explore their views, experiences and choices of participation in recreational activities

Finite element analysis on the stress state of rope Hoisting Equipment based on the ABAQUS
2017 8th International Conference on Mechanical and Intelligent Manufacturing Technologies (ICMIMT), 2017Co-Authors: Wen-zheng DuAbstract:This paper presents a simulation of the steel wire rope of a certain type Hoisting Equipment to explore the distributions of stress and deformation in the process of lifting heavy loads. The SolidWorks software was used to establish the 3D solid model of the 6*6+WS structure of stone cross strand wire rope for a certain lifting Equipment. Then the solid model of steel wire rope was imported into the ABAQUS directly through the SolidWorks and ABAQUS interface plugin, the material properties were defined, the contact pairs were established, the model was meshed, and the constraints were applied to solve the finite element model. In the normal working range of the wire rope, axial tension of 5000 N was loaded to analyse the stress and deformation distributions. The results show that the stress of wire rope presents a space spiral distribution and the stress of the lateral steel wire of the rope strand is the largest of the steel wire rope, which will provide reference for the design and improvement of the steel wire rope.
