First introduced the Horizontal Extension of the overall structure of the supporting of coal mine belt which leads to support the working environment of the vehicles, then comparison of traditional materials and new materials to support the vehicle body, trying to replace traditional materials with new materials, and new materials for static mechanics and fatigue analysis, we found the support body after the application of new materials fatigue life less than ideal requirements, and thus try to use new materials to support the car body laser coating technology to improve, after ANSYS fatigue test, and validation support guide the application of coating on the car body can effectively improve the fatigue strength, has good application prospects.

  • Coal Mine Underground Horizontal Extension Transfer Machine
    Advanced Materials Research, 2012
Co-Authors: Ping Huai Mao, Bing Zhai, Li Ding
    Abstract:

At present, many coal mines in underground coal loading method are: first we will fill with the first tramcar, and then push the tramcar to another one. Finally, the electric locomotive will take all tramcar away. This method has brought many problems: the demand of roadway widened, the transmission efficiency is low, the transmission of high cost, labor intensive. To resolve these problems, we put forward a kind of application in underground coal mine machinery--Horizontal Extension transfer machine. This article describes the loader part of the structure and working principle. Green design principles, to provide a theoretical basis for the design of similar machinery. There are many advantages of the structure in the machine, such as compact, simple operation, easy maintenance, low costly and environmental.

  • The Green Design of Bracket of Scraper Part of Coal Mine Underground Horizontal Extension Transfer Machine
    Advanced Materials Research, 2012
Co-Authors: Ping Huai Mao, Li Ding
    Abstract:

Recently, transporting coal in the coal mine is poor efficiency and too costly. Coal mine underground Horizontal Extension transfer machine is used to transport coal faster and better. To resolve the problem how to connect the scraper conveyer with tramcar in this system, the design of the bracket has been brought up. The bracket of scraper part is the main bearing of coal mine underground Horizontal Extension transfer machine, and all the scraper conveyer must be fixed in the bracket. In addition, the design of the bracket of scraper part not only considers the rationality in the structure, but also considers the effect of the environment. The system works in extreme circumstances, but the green design can resolve it. It can effectively combine the choice of material, the structure of the bracket, the methods of technology with exterior styling, reflecting the human, machine of harmony with the working environment.

  • vertical and Horizontal Extension of the oxygen minimum zone in the eastern south pacific ocean
Deep-sea Research Part Ii-topical Studies in Oceanography, 2009
Co-Authors: Rosalino Fuenzalida, Wolfgang Schneider, Luis Bravo, Jose Garcesvargas, Carina B. Lange
    Abstract:

Recent hydrographic measurements within the eastern South Pacific (1999–2001) were combined with vertically high-resolution data from the World Ocean Circulation Experiment, high-resolution profiles and bottle casts from the World Ocean Database 2001, and the World Ocean Atlas 2001 in order to evaluate the vertical and Horizontal Extension of the oxygen minimum zone ( 600 m) off Peru between 5 and 13°S and to about 1000 km offshore. Its upper boundary is shallowest (<150 m) off Peru, shoaling towards the coast and extending well into the euphotic zone in some places. Offshore, the thickness and meridional extent of the oxygen minimum zone decrease until it finally vanishes at 140°W between 2° and 8°S. Moving southward along the coast of South America, the zonal Extension of the oxygen minimum zone gradually diminishes from 3000 km (15°S) to 1200 km (20°S) and then to 25 km (30°S); only a thin band is detected at ∼37°S off Concepcion, Chile. Simultaneously, the oxygen minimum zone's maximum thickness decreases from 300 m (20°S) to less than 50 m (south of 30°S). The spatial distribution of Ekman suction velocity and oxygen minimum zone thickness correlate well, especially in the core. Off Chile, the eastern South Pacific Intermediate Water mass introduces increased vertical stability into the upper water column, complicating ventilation of the oxygen minimum zone from above. In addition, oxygen-enriched Antarctic Intermediate Water clashes with the oxygen minimum zone at around 30°S, causing a pronounced sub-surface oxygen front. The new estimates of vertical and Horizontal oxygen minimum zone distribution in the eastern South Pacific complement the global quantification of naturally hypoxic continental margins by Helly and Levin [2004. Global distribution of naturally occurring marine hypoxia on continental margins. Deep-Sea Research I 51, 1159–1168] and provide new baseline data useful for studies on the role of oxygen in the degradation of organic matter in the water column and the related implications for biogeochemical cycles. Coastal upwelling zones along the eastern Pacific combine with general circulation to provide a mechanism that allows renewal of upper Pacific Deep Water, the most oxygen-poor and oldest water mass of the world oceans.

  • vertical and Horizontal Extension of the oxygen minimum zone in the easterns south pactific ocean
    Gayana, 2006
Co-Authors: Wolfgang Schneider, Rosalino Fuenzalida, Luis Bravo, Jose Garcesvargas, Carina B. Lange
    Abstract:

  • The Lightweight Design for Tractor Frame of the Coal Mine Belt Horizontal Extension Transfer Machine
    Advanced Materials Research, 2013
Co-Authors: Ping Huai Mao, Bing Zhai
    Abstract:

Coal mine Horizontal belt Extension transfer machine is designed in order to solve the mine loading efficiency is not high, especially the most loading mechanical failed to solve continuous loading problem. Among them, the tractor as power to provide the transfer machine, its importance cans be imagined. Through the statics analysis of the tractor frame, we draw the conclusion: Preliminary plan is too conservative given frame size, frame heavier, cause material waste, processing difficult. We will through two aspects of size parameters optimization and material optimization design, make the tractor frame on the premise of guarantee function materials more provinces, lighter weight, lower cost. Size options and set up new material selection, and then we stand for the statics analysis. Analysis results show that our lightweight design of tractor frame is a success.

  • Reply to Comment on ‘Dykes, faults and paleostresses in the Teno and Anaga massifs of Tenerife (Canary Islands)’ by J.A. Rodrı́guez-Losada and A. Hernández-Pacheco
Journal of Volcanology and Geothermal Research, 2002
    Co-Authors: Laura Marinoni, Agust Gudmundsson
    Abstract:

Abstract We welcome the comment by Rodriguez-Losada and Hernandez-Pacheco (hereafter LP) and we are pleased that they have ‘no objections to the conclusions’ of Marinoni and Gudmundsson (2000 ; hereafter MG). The LP comment deals only with the Anaga massif and mostly with (1) dykes supposed to be folded by post-emplacement ductile deformation, (2) tilting of the oldest part of the Anaga succession, (3) selection of profiles, (4) the Horizontal Extension due to dykes, and (5) the paleostress field of Anaga. We reply briefly to these points below.

  • Stress fields generating ring faults in volcanoes
    Geophysical Research Letters, 1997
Co-Authors: Agust Gudmundsson, Joan Martí, Elisenda Turon
    Abstract:

Ring faults in volcanoes have been recognized for a long time, but their mechanics of formation is still poorly understood. While the subsidence on a ring fault during a large eruption from the associated chamber is easily understood, the initiation of the fault itself has been difficult to explain. For a ring fault to form, the tensile and shear stresses at the surface of the volcano must peak at a certain radial distance from the surface point above the center of the chamber. Empirical evidence, however, shows that during most periods of unrest in active volcanoes the stress field is not favorable for the initiation of ring faults. We made several tens of boundary-element models of magma chambers of various geometries and subject to different loading conditions. The results indicate that overpressure or underpressure in the chamber as the only loading is unlikely to initiate ring faults. For a spherical chamber subject to Horizontal Extension or doming, and a sill-like chamber subject to Horizontal Extension, the tensile and shear stresses at the surface of the volcano peak at a certain radial distance from the surface point above the center of the chamber. Then, however, the maximum stresses occur at the boundary of the chamber itself, which would normally lead to sheet injection rather than to ring-fault formation. By contrast, a sill-like magma chamber subject to doming gives rise to a stress field suitable for the initiation of a ring fault.
