  • The Recycling of the Tetra-Pak Packages: Research on the Wet Process Separation Conditions of Aluminum and Polythene in the Tetra-Pak Packages
2009 3rd International Conference on Bioinformatics and Biomedical Engineering, 2009
    Co-Authors: Ji-fei Zhang, Da-hai Yan, Zhong-he Li
    Abstract:

The recycling of tetra-pak packages composed of paper, low-density polyethylene (LDPE), and aluminum is of great recycling significance. The recovering of paper, the major component, was conducted through a Hydrapulper apparatus. The wet separation conditions of the remaining part, a laminated sheet composed of LDPE (0.03 ~ 0.08 mm) and aluminum foil (0.02 ~ 0.03 mm)(Al-PE), was studied in this paper. The separation effect of different separation reagents was compared, and the major process influencing factors, such as the separation reagent concentration, reaction temperature, liquid to solid ratio and solid size was studied. By orthogonal design experiment and variance analysis based on three evaluating indicators, the optimum condition of aluminum and LDPE complete separation using methanoic acid as separation reagent was obtained: 4 mol/L of methanoic acid concentration, 601 of reaction temperature, 60 L/kg of liquid to solid ratio and 5 times 5 cm of solid size, under which the separation rate would reach 100%.

  • Application of frequency conversion energy conservation technology in pulping and papermaking
    2008
    Co-Authors: Li Fang-yuan
    Abstract:

The paper industry is one of the twelve high energy consumption and high pol- lution industries in China and according to the related policies, the average comprehensive energy consumption of paper machine must be cut down greatly. Because of the long pa- per production line and complex procedures of energy consumption, this paper describes the energy conservation appliction in three main sections, such as Hydrapulper, fan pump and suction drainage.

  • Application of AC Inverter in the Batch Hydrapulper
    2007
    Co-Authors: Li Fang-yuan
    Abstract:

Comparing with the continuous Hydrapulper, the batch Hydrapulper has the following advantages: right material feeding time, adding water volume, appropriate running time. So the batch Hydrapulper can be used in the need of deinking and in the lack of refiner, screen, grinding. But in fact the disadvantages of the batch Hydrapulper are energy waste, small production and low work efficiency. This paper will discuss the application of AC inverter in the batch Hydrapulper ZDS which can solve the problem.

  • An analysis of implementation of Taguchi method to improve production of pulp on Hydrapulper milling
International Journal of Production Management and Engineering, 2019
Co-Authors: Hernadewita Hernadewita, I Rochmad, Hendra Hendra, Hermiyetti Hermiyetti, Euis Nina Saparina Yuliani
    Abstract:

Taguchi method is one of a design of experimental (DOE), by  using statistical approach to optimize the process parameters and maintaining the minimum variability and also improve the quality of product.  Based on data characterisation, Nominal is Best in Taguchi methods is suitable application in this study. Its describe the procedures and steps that occur in DOE to find an optimum quality parameter corresponding quality characterisation. Nominal is the best applied in milling process of pulp on the Hydrapulper with pulp freeness 650 Canadian Standard Freeness (CSF). The result is shown by orthogonal array, Signal-to-Noise (S/N) Ratio and analysis of variances (ANOVA). Three factors cosidered in this study and namely the composition of pulp (waste paper), pulp consistency and milling time. The experiment will conducted after determination of each level and  the appropriate orthogonal array was selected. After measuring of pulp freeness produced by the pulp milling on the Hydrapulper, then Signal-to-Noise (S/N) Ratio is calculated. As the conclussion, the factors and levels of optimum freeness obtained, pulp composition in level 1 (100%), pulp consistency at level 2 (8%) and milling time factor in level 2 (45 minutes). The result of experimental verification was interpreted in the conclusion. Keywords: Taguchi; DOE; pulp; Hydrapulper; Nominal is the Best; ANOVA
