  • design of bypass throttle Hydraulic Cylinder speed control system base on high speed on off valve
    Advanced Materials Research, 2013
    Co-Authors: Hai Zhou Song
    Abstract:

Application of high-speed on-off valve in the Hydraulic speed control system was researched in this paper. The bypass-throttle circuit application of high speed on-off valve is proposed to control the speed of Hydraulic Cylinder. The duty cycle of pulse control signal was changed according to the displacement of Hydraulic Cylinder to control the speed and weak the impact. The speed and accelerated speed curves of Hydraulic Cylinder were achieved by the means of simulation with Simulink and experiment with FESTO is obtained, and research result shows that the applied scheme can effectively control the speed of Hydraulic Cylinder effectively.

  • Design of Hydraulic Cylinder Speed Control System Base on High-Speed on-Off Valve
    Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2012
Co-Authors: Wen Liang Guan, Hai Zhou Song, Zhi Yong Yang
    Abstract:

In order to study the Application of high-speed on-off valve in the Hydraulic Cylinder speed control system, series and parallel application schemes between high-speed on-off valve and Hydraulic Cylinder are proposed to control the speed of Hydraulic Cylinder. The duty cycle of pulse control signal was changed according to the displacement of Hydraulic Cylinder to control the speed of Hydraulic Cylinder and weak the impact. The simulation curve compared with the experimental results show that, two application schemes can both control the speed of Hydraulic Cylinder effectively. Series application scheme can be only applied to small flow Hydraulic system; parallel application scheme has wider application.

  • Performance degradation of Hydraulic Cylinder reciprocating seals
2018 13th IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA), 2018
Co-Authors: Xinyu Tian, Shaoping Wang, Chao Zhang
    Abstract:

Hydraulic Cylinder is one of the most important components in Hydraulic system. Reciprocating seal is the essential part of Hydraulic Cylinder, whose health status and lifetime will directly affect the safety and reliability of the whole Hydraulic system. Therefore, it is significant to study the degradation performance of reciprocating seal on Cylinder. This paper considers the O-ring seal structure, which is widely used in reciprocating seal of Hydraulic Cylinder, and uses leakage as the performance indicator. Through combining of finite element simulation and numerical solution obtained by mathematical model, the leakage model of reciprocating seal is established. Then the effects of medium pressure, seal compression rate and friction coefficient on the seal leakage rate are analyzed. This model could provide a reference for the proper use of rubber O-rings and is helpful for the study of seal failure rules and life prediction methods.
