Deskripsinya berkaitan dengan pengaruh dan perubahan ideologi dan identitas sebab-akibat adanya kolonialisme. Untuk dapat menguraikan hal tersebut, maka dalam tulisan ini digunakan pendekatan kritik poskolonial, dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif-analitik. Untuk menganalisis data digunakan teknik fokalisator dan teknik interpretasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa dalam roman Carios Agan Permas, setiap kelas sosial masyarakat memiliki ideologi yang berbeda-beda. Bagi kelas kuasa, ideologi digunakan untuk mempertahankan kohesi sosial dan memperkuat kekuasaan. Ini terepresentasikan oleh subjek Haji Serbanna dan Imas. Bagi kelas tertindas, ideologi digunakan sebagai bentuk perlawanan. Bentuk ideologi ini hadir dalam diri Ambu Imba dan Otong. Dalam roman ini terdapat juga ideologi kelas kuasa, namun dalam praktiknya digunakan untuk melakukan resistensi sekaligus melindungi kelas tertindas. Adapun identitas yang terbentuk adalah identitas hibrid, dalam arti, subjek yang terdapat dalam roman ini memiliki sifat yang ambigu sekaligus ambivalen. Hal ini tampak pada subjek Haji Serbanna, Imas, sedangkan identitas yang terbangun dalam diri Brani bersifat ambigu. ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the Ideology and identity of the Sundanese community which is reflected in the literary works, especially romance. Its description concerns with the influence and change of Ideology and the causal effect identity of colonialism. In describing this study, the writer used Poscolonial Criticism Approach and descriptive-analytic method. Fokalisator and interpretation techniques were used to analyze the data. The analysis result of Carios Agan Permas romantic story shows that every social society class has different ideologies. For the rulling class, the Ideology is used to maintain social cohesion and to strengthen the power. It is represented by the subject of Haji Serbanna and Imas. For the oppressed class, the Ideology is used as a form of resistance. This form of Ideology is present in Ambu Imba and Otong. In this romantic story there is also a rulling class Ideology, but in practice it is used to carry out resistance and to protect the oppressed class. The formed identity is a hybrid identity, in a sense, the subjects in this romantic story have both ambiguous and ambivalent caracter. 2015Co-Authors: Arif Ali AbdilahAbstract:Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perlunya usaha untuk membangkitkan, menumbuhkan, dan menyebarkan kesadaran diri, sehingga dapat menentukan gagasan sendiri atau kolektif dalam menghadapi kehidupan dengan persoalan-persoalannya. Adapun yang menjadi tujuan penelitian ini, adalah untuk mendeskripsikan (1) ideologi yang muncul dalam roman Carios Agan Permas (CAG); (2) bentuk dominasi dan resistensi yang muncul dalam roman CAG; dan (3) identitas masyarakat Sunda yang muncul dalam roman CAG. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analitik yang bertujuan untuk mencari dan mendeskripsikan data-data dengan mengaitkan antara struktur sosial dengan teks sastra secara teliti, sedangkan teknik yang digunakan adalah teknik studi pustaka, teknik fokalisator, dan teknik interpretasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa setiap kelas sosial masyarakat memiliki ideologi yang berbeda-beda. Bagi kelas kuasa, ideologi digunakan untuk mempertahankan kohesi sosial dan memperkuat kekuasaan. Hal ini tampak pada diri Haji Serbanna dan Imas. Bagi kelas tertindas, ideologi digunakan sebagai bentuk perlawanan terhadap kelas kuasa. Hal ini tampak pada diri Ambu Imba dan Otong. Di samping itu, dalam roman ini terdapat juga ideologi kelas kuasa, yang praktiknya digunakan untuk melakukan perlawan dan perlindungan terhadap kelas tertindas, seperti tampak pada diri Brani. Jika melihat penemuan tersebut, maka akan tampak bahwa yang menggerakan dan memengaruhi ideologi setiap subjek adalah masalah ekonomi. Semakin menguasai perekonomian, maka setiap subjek memiliki kebebasan untuk melakukan dominasi dan resistensi. Adapun identitas yang muncul dalam roman ini adalah identitas hibrid. Identitas baru, yang terbentuk akibat adanya pengaruh kolonialisme. Tapi, dalam praktiknya identitas tersebut memiliki sifat yang ambigu sekaligus ambivalen, seperti yang tampak pada diri Haji Serbanna dan Imas. Identitas hibrid lainnya, tampak dalam diri Brani. Namun dalam praktiknya, identitas yang terbentuk dalam diri Brani memiliki sifat ambigu, dalam arti, Brani bisa menempatkan dan menentukan identitas dirinya sebagai pribumi. Saran disampaikan kepada peneliti selanjutnya untuk lebih mengkhususkan penelitian pada salah satu aspek dari ruang lingkup tiori poskolonial, agar hasil penelitian lebih mendalam dan lebih menguak masalah yang menggejala di masyarakat Sunda. Akhirnya, semoga hasil penelitian ini dapat memperkaya khazanah bahasa dan sastra Sunda dan menjadi cerminan dan pedoman dalam menentukan dan menerapkan gagasan serta identitas diri dalam menghadapi persinggungan budaya luar yang masuk dan memengaruhi budaya pribumi. This research is motivated by the need for businesses to raise, grow, and spread awareness of self, so that they can determine their own idea or collective to face of life with the problems. As for the objectives of this study was to describe (1) the Ideology that appears in the romance Carios Agan Permas (CAG); (2) forms of domination and resistance that appear in the romance CAG; and (3) the identity of Sundanese people whom appear in the novel CAG. The method of this reseach is analytical descriptive to find and describe datas by connecting each social structure with literature text in detail, while the technique used are literature review, focalisator, and interpretation. The result of this research shows each social classes has their own Ideology. To powerful class, Ideology is used to maintain social cohesion and to strengthen their power. This is clearly shown by Haji Serbanna and Imas. To oppressed class, Ideology is used as a form of. Resistance toward the powerful class. This is clearly shown by Ambu Imba and Otong. On the other hand, there is other Ideology of the powerful class that is used on resisting and protecting the opressed class, which is shown by Brani. Looking at this discovery, what moved and influenced each subject's Ideology is economy. The more one dominates economy, the more one has more freedom to do domination and resistance. The identities found in this romance Tare hybrid identities. New identity, formed as the cause of colonialism. However, in practice this identity is ambiguous and ambivalence, as shown by Haji Sabanna and Imas. Other hybrid identity is shown by Brani and this identity formed within Brani is ambiguous, in other words, Brani places himself and decided to be identified as indigenous person. Advice for the next researcher is to more specify the research on one of the aspects of post-colonial theory, so the result of the research is more in-depth and more able to reveal phenomena in Sundanese society. At last, hope that this reseach will enrich th variety of Sundanese language and literature and to be a reflection and guidance in determining and implementing the ideas and identity in the face of cultural intersection outside the entrance and affect the indigenous culture.

We find that party competitiveness and Ideology are significantly related to turnout, while party organization is not. We also show that the effect of each party attribute is essentially the same in presidential and off-year elections; that party Ideology and competitiveness remain significant when controlling for candidate spending; and that the impact of Ideology and competition differs depending on the restrictiveness of a state's voter registration requirements. Party competition is the only significant mobilizing force in states with more restrictive voter registration laws, while party Ideology and candidate campaign spending are mobilizing forces in states with less restrictive registration laws.

We focus on France from the beginning of its stable democratic experience in 1871. A move of voters' Ideology to the right increases economic growth over total observation period. However, the growth effect of Ideology is mediated by voters' preferences for government size only during the post-World War II period. For reverse causality concerns, we use the political Ideology of other historical democracies as an instrument variable for France's Ideology

It does so by addressing three main issues: the property and the reliability of a political Ideology index in the long-run, the robustness of the relationship between Ideology and growth and the specific channels through which political Ideology affects economic performance. The main conclusion is that, compared with right-wing parties in power, left-wing governments have promoted equity at the expense of economic growth. It also appears that the main channel through which political Ideology has impacted economic performance all along the French democratic experience is the budgetary tool (i.e. fiscal and redistributive policies) which influenced employment and income inequalities. By contrast, there seems to be less or even no empirical support for explanations based on the monetary policy or regulation, such as trade policies or the labor market regulation.
