ileo ileal Intussusception caused by diffuse large b cell lymphoma of the Ileum

We present an 82-year-old man with a two-month history of intermittent abdominal pain, nausea and fatigue. Clinical symptoms included moderate abdominal tenderness in the right lower abdomen. Computed tomography scan of the abdomen revealed a mass in the terminal Ileum with the sign of “bowel within bowel” which was suspicious of ileo-Ileum Intussusception. The patient underwent laparoscopic segmental ileal resection. Pathologic evaluation revealed a diffuse large B cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma of the Ileum. The postoperative course was uneventful.

A l'inverse, elle est rare chez l'adulte et le plus souvent associee a une pathologie maligue. Nous rapportons le cas d'une de 33 ans operee en urgence pour un sun drome occlusif qui a mis en evidence un polype fibro-inflammatoire. Celui-ci est toujours une lesion benigne. Elle est le plus sou vent unique, s'exprimant majoritairement sous forme d'invagination ileale aigue au niveau du grele. Son etiopathogenie est inconnue.
