  • continuous Integration Server
    2017
    Co-Authors: Jorge Acetozi
    Abstract:

As the chat application grows, running Integration tests on a developer’s machine becomes a boring task because it starts consuming a lot of time. Can you see the problem that could emerge? The application has good test coverage, but the developer doesn’t run the tests because they take too much time (the developer’s machine is not a powerful Server, right?). Well, having tests and not running them is the same as not having tests, and you already know that having no tests is not a good idea!

  • Continuous Integration for open source web applications on GitHub
Vysoká škola ekonomická v Praze, 2018
    Co-Authors: Soule Kamil
    Abstract:

Navržené řešení využívá cloudový integrační Server Travis CI a samostatný web s reporty a dalšími informacemi o proběhlých integracích. This diploma thesis provides a comprehensive view on graphical web user interface testing during continuous Integration. It focuses on open source projects published on GitHub that use Docker containers for their deployment. First part of the work is an overview of free cloud Servers for the Integration of open source projects. In addition, the work includes an overview of automated testing tools that are based on the Selenium WebDriver library. Attention is paid to tools supporting the development of test scenarios according to the agile methodology called behaviour driven development. Another part of the thesis describes the design of technical solution that allows Integration of graphical web interface testing into the process of continuous Integration for open source projects. The proposed solution uses Travis CI as cloud Integration Server and a standalone website to store reports and other information on past Integrations. Automated tests are defined using the Robot framework and executed using a Docker image, which is published on Docker Hub. The use of the proposed solution is demonstrated by its implementation and deployment for the open source project EasyMiner. This project is developed at the University of Economics Prague in DIKE department. The implementation includes the creation of a test suite with scenarios according to the behaviour driven development methodology

  • Server for Continuous Integration
Vysoké učení technické v Brně. Fakulta informačních technologií, 2020
    Co-Authors: Šajdík Michal
    Abstract:

This work contains description about the following topics: what kind of technologies and principles are needed for creation of a continuous Integration Server, already existing solutions, why there is a need to create a new one, and how to integrate continuous Integration Server which was created during this work, based on the information mentioned in this work, to a working environment. This work also shows effects and some side effects of correct and incorrect configuration of the mentioned continuous Integration Server. Mentioned continuous Integration Server is also able to run on MS Windows 10 and Linux without need to adapt a configuration for a specific operating system.

  • Agent- and CORBA-Based Application Integration Platform for an Agile Manufacturing Environment
The International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, 2003
Co-Authors: Jie Zhang, F.t.s. Chan, Ping Li
    Abstract:

A new application Integration platform for an agile manufacturing environment is presented, which is based on agent and common request broker architecture (CORBA). CORBA enhances the system Integration because it is an industry-standard for interoperable, distributed objects across heterogeneous hardware and software platforms. Agent technology is used to improve the intelligence of the Integration system. The platform is open, distributed, and modular to enable the user to adapt its content to his requirements. This application Integration platform supports the goals of agile manufacturing: rapid response to changing requirements, reduction in both time and cost of the product realisation process, and Integration within a heterogeneous, wide-area-networked enterprise. In order to implement the application Integration platform, we use a network Integration Server to integrate the network, design a generic database agent to integrate database, adopt a multi-agent based architecture to integrate application, and utilise a wrapper as a CORBA object to integrate the legacy code. Finally, a prototype framework is presented.

    2020
    Co-Authors: Roselló Micó Adriá
    Abstract:

[EN] The Smart Grid is based on combining information and communication technologies with automation and control. AMI (Advanced metering infrastructure) is an integrated system in the electrical network that allows measurement through bidirectional communication between endpoints, covering large areas and distances with a large number of nodes (close to one thousand). MaxLinear s AMI solution offers certain advantages over other technologies for the low voltage network: Plug-and-Play nodes, bandwidth, consumption measurement in end nodes, robustness, simple Integration in the current network and end-to-end IP connectivity. An automatic validation environment makes it possible to run a set of tests within a controlled environment, making it possible to find faults in the product before going into production.
