The Clinical Analysis of 13 Cases in Penetrating Larynx Injury
Lingnan Journal of Emergency Medicine, 2006Co-Authors: Hong Hao-boAbstract:Objective: To investigate the emergency treatment and experience of penetrating Larynx Injury. Methods: The clinic data of 13 patients with penetrating Larynx Injury were analyzed retrospectively in the hospital from May 1997 to June 2005. Results: 13 cases recovered to normal breathe. 10 cases sounded normal and 3 got roughness of voice. Conclusion: Surgical intervention is the first choice emergency treatment of penetration Larynx Injury. Antibiotics and short-range hormone were recommended. Nutritional support treatment should be applied.
