    Abstract:

    Log Management module plays an important role in the massive spatial database Management System. Recently there are few three-dimensional spatial database Management Systems with pertinent Log Management sub-System, or the administrator can only use the Log, which is attached by database System, to recover the data. To improve this issue, hierarchical structure of the Log Management module should be taken into account. The overall design of three-dimensional spatial database Management System is as follows: three-dimensional spatial database (including database System, file System), three-dimensional spatial data engine, and three-dimensional space Management tools. The Log Management module is designed to solve the problem of complexity and inconvenience of three-dimensional spatial data manipulation records. According to the 3D spatial database Management System design, we divided the Log Management into three layers. The Log Management System includes monitor layer of three-dimensional spatial database's triggers and file database System operations recording statements, interface layer of Log Management module of three-dimensional spatial database engine, and graphical user interface layer of Log Management module of three-dimensional spatial data Management tools. Monitor layer design includes database System trigger design. When the database table has been dynamically created, the trigger will be automatically created and record the database operations, then the file System calls function to record the Log. Interface layer design includes accessing the database, reading the Log table in database and other integrated operations, including query and delete. Graphical user interface layer mainly includes the design of graphical interfaces, the function call form interface layer, and Log data operations. In order to work on the layers conveniently, database System trigger and file database System's record are used to record the operation of the database. The Log module interface in three-dimensional spatial data engine is used to exchange the data between graphical interface and underlying database. The Log module in database Management tools can directly provide a graphical interface, but not need to provide access functions to get the Log data. This design method has an excellent scalability and flexibility, and can also be made appropriate changes to meet the new needs.

    Abstract:

    Abstract—Device monitoring is an important thing to manage networks. Information related network state or condition can be gathered through the device monitoring for administrators to make decisions regarding occurred events. Logs can be useful information to monitor network devices. Network administrator of Diponegoro University need a centralized Log Management System that can receive, manage, and analyze Logs. This research identify functional requirements of Log Management System. TopoLogy design and software that will be used by the Log Management System use DSR method. The next step is implementation of the topoLogy, software, and application. The last step is testing the System and Log Management application. The results show that collecting centralized Logs and processing these Logs into information in the form of dashboards using ELK Stack application successfully implemented. The dashboard resulted by ELK Stack Application will be implemented on the web application using PHP programming language and Codeigniter framework. The test results show that System can receive Logs and group the Log according to the device location and the severity level of the Log

    Abstract:

    A server is a software that has a duty and responsibility to provide information to the web. Any process that occurs within the web server will be recorded in a Log. A Log is a file that contains a list of actions, events (activities) that have been going on in a computer System. By using the Log files on a web server, a lot of things that can be done by System administrators to monitor the performance of the web server. However, the Log on the web server are difficult to understand and read. Log Management System is a System that can handle data services Log in large numbers and generate detailed Log information. Logstash is the application Log Management System that can help the System administrator in the performance monitor Log of the web server. Logstash will be combined with the Elasticsearch serves as data storage media and Kibana as visualization. ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) is used to display and keep an eye on the Log data from web server so, System administrators can know the performance of the web server. Server sebagai penyedia layanan di jaringan memastikan agar semua aktivitas yang berkaitan dengannya dicatat dalam Log. Log adalah file yang berisi daftar aktivitas dan waktu yang terjadi dalam server. Pemantauan kinerja server dengan memanfaatkan Log akan meningkatkan ketahanan dan tingkat layanan sebuah server. Masalahnya adalah Log yang tercatat tersebar di beberapa tempat dan susah untuk langsung diolah karena bentuknya bukan seperti tabel. Log Management System dapat menangani data Log dalam jumlah besar, menghasilkan detail informasi aktivitas, dan visualisasi data Log yang lebih mudah dimengerti pengguna. Perangkat lunak ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) bisa dikombinasikan dan diintegrasikan dalam server web untuk mengelola, manampilkan, dan mengawasi data-data Log yang ada sehingga administrator jaringan dapat mengetahui kinerja yang terdapat pada server web. Implementasi dan uji coba menunjukkan pengawasan kinerja server web Apache yang lebih mudah dimengerti pengguna.
