YadavAbstract:Abstract A convergent total synthesis of isocladosporin and 3- epi -isocladosporin is reported starting from commercially available homoallyl alcohol in 10 longest linear steps with 28% overall yield. The key steps involved in the synthesis are cross-metathesis, tandem isomerization followed by C O and C C bond formation Reactions for the synthesis of trans -2,6-disubstituted dihydropyrans developed by us, acylation Reaction and Luche Reaction.
