The two-point Measuring scheme consists of two orthogonal displacement sensors and an angle encoder. This Method is compared with existing two-point Measuring Method in mathematical model and calculation process, and results show that the improved Method is more simple and efficient. Error analysis and simulations are performed, and experimental results indicate that the improved two-point Measuring algorithm has a better real-time performance and ensures the Measuring accuracy, which meets the radial micro-displacement real-time closed-loop feedback control requirements for the smart boring bar in high-speed rotation.

The International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, 2014Co-Authors: Bin Wang, Xiaoliang Liu, Huanghu PengAbstract:This paper presents a novel real-time Measuring Method to measure the micro-displacement of a rotating cutter in precise piston noncylinder pinhole boring. A noncontact and interference-free approach is used to dynamically collect data on the cutter’s displacement by using two perpendicular electric eddy sensors. Data from the sensors are processed by using the corresponding algorithm according to the position of the boring cutter. The mathematical model is established, and the error is separated by using the error separation technique and then compensated. A typical application of the Method in the smart boring bar with the embedded giant magnetostrictive actuator is demonstrated. Several experiments are carried out, and the results indicate that the real-time Measuring Method can measure the micro-displacement of a rotating boring cutter effectively.

Study on Real-Time Measuring Method of Concrete Pump Discharge

According to the working principle of concrete pump, the mathematic model of the concrete pump discharge is established. The real-time Measuring Method of concrete pump discharge, which is based on pressure in the master cylinder, is put forward. By Measuring and analyzing the pressure in the master cylinder, calculating the real-time pumping efficiency, the concrete pump discharge could be measured. The preliminary experiment indicates that the Measuring Method based on pressure in the master cylinder has high precision.

I2MTC - Electric vehicle battery temperature Measuring Method based on magnetic nanoparticles

At present, the widely used temperature Measuring Method can only measure the surface temperature of the battery, but cannot measure the actual temperature inside the battery. Besides, the Method is greatly affected by ambient temperature, and the accuracy is limited. To solve the above problems, we proposed a new noninvasive temperature Measuring Method based on magnetic nanoparticles for electric vehicle lithium-ion battery. At first, the mechanism of magnetic nanoparticles for battery temperature measurement was studied. Then, a temperature Measuring model was established. Excitation and measurement system of AC magnetic field was built for temperature Measuring experiments. The test results demonstrated that the proposed Method could accurately measure the internal temperature of the battery.
