Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap Pola Faktorial 4 x 4. Faktor pertama adalah taraf suplementasi 0,02 %, 0,04 %, 0,06 % dan 0,08 % sulpur (S), faktor kedua adalah taraf suplementasi 1,00 %, 1,50 %, 2,00 % dan 2,50 % nitrogen (N), tiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 (tiga) kali. Peubah yang diamati untuk melihat respon terhadap perlakuan yang diberikan adalah kandungan protein kasar, protein murni, Non Protein Nitrogen ( NPN ), lemak kasar, serat kasar, dan Bahan Ekstrak Tanpa Nitrogen (BETN) yang diukur menggunakan metode analisa kimia (AOAC, 1989 : Apriyantono dkk, 1989). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat interaksi pengaruh antara suplementasi sulpur dengan nitrogen terhadap kandungan protein kasar, protein murni, lemak kasar, serat kasar dan Bahan Ekstrak Tanpa Nitrogen tongkol jagung hasil bioproses kapang Neurospora sitophila , kecuali terhadap kandungan Non Protein Nitrogen ( NPN ). Suplementasi sulpur dan nitrogen memberikan pengaruh terhadap peningkatan kandungan protein kasar (19,93 %), protein murni (18,09 %), dan lemak kasar (4,64 %), serta penurunan kandungan serat kasar (26,55 %) dan Bahan Ekstrak Tanpa Nitrogen (47,02 %). Imbangan suplementasi 0,08 % sulpur dan 2,50 % nitrogen menghasilkan nilai nutrisi tongkol jagung hasil bioproses kapang Neurospora sitophila paling baik. Kata kunci : Jagung, Neurospora sitophila , sulpur, nitrogen dan nilai nutrisi.

2008Co-Authors: Tina Harlina, Atun Budiman Dan MansyurAbstract:The research was addressed to evaluation a nutrition value of corn cob as bioprocces product by the fungi Neurospora sitophila with supplementation sulphur and nitrogen. The experimental methode on this research was using Completely Randomized Design with factorial 4 x 4 and replicated in three times. The first factor are supplementation of 0,02 %, 0,04 %, 0,06 % and 0,08 % sulphur (S), and the second factor are supplementation of 1,00 %, 1,50 %, 2,00 % and 2,50 % nitrogen (N). Parameter in this research are the contents of crude protein, true protein, Non Protein Nitrogen (NPN), extract ether, crude fiber, and nitrogen free extract (NFE). The nutrition value such determined with chemical analysis (AOAC, 1989; Apriyantono et al, 1989). The result indicated that there was interaction between sulphur and nitrogen supplementation on the contents of crude protein, true protein, crude fiber and nitroge n free extract (NFE), exceply on the contents of Non Protein Nitrogen (NPN). The supplementation of sulphur and nitr ogen has significant effects on increasing the contents of crude protein (19,93 %) , true protein (18,09 %), and extract ether (4,64 %), so decreasing to the contents of crude fiber (26,55 %) and nitrogen free extract (47,02 %). The supplementation of 0,08 % sulpur with 2,50 % nitrogen was obtained the best average of the nutrition value of corn cob as bioprocces product by the fungi Neurospora sitophila.

Contribuição para o estudo da linhagem Neurospora sp isolada de beiju de mandioca
2014Co-Authors: Argentina Sampaio CostaAbstract:Resumo: Foram isoladas diversas linhagens de Neurospora sp de amostras de beijus provenientes de vários locais do Estado do Maranhão produtores de tiquira, bebida alcoólica típica da região. Em todas as linhagens, inclusive N. sitophila ATCC 46892 obtida do beiju por Park et alii em 1982 foi verificada a capacidade de produzir o composto identificado como etil hexanoato, responsável pelo forte aroma de frutas. Neste trabalho foram realizados estudos comparativos das características bioquímicas e microbiológicas entre Neurospora de beiju e outras linhagens de Neurospora, tais como N. sitophila NRRL 2884, N. tetrasperma NRRL 2164, N. intermedia NRRL 5506 e N. crassa NRRL 2223. Verificou-se que apenas as linhagens de Neurospora isoladas de beiju produziram o aroma de frutas. Estas linhagens apresentaram maior capacidade fermentativa em amido 5% e maior atividade amiloglicosidásica que as linhagens de N. tetrasperma 2164, N. intermedia 5506 e N. crassa 2223 da coleção de cultura NRRL, porém menor que a linhagem N. sitophila NRRL 2884. Quanto à atividade das enzimas xilanase, pectinase, CMCase e lipase as linhagens de Neurospora apresentaram resultados negativos. Através de análises quimiotaxonômicas foi identificada a Coenzima Q-I0 em todas as linhagens. Observou-se diferenças no tamanho e coloração de conídias de Neurospora isoladas de beiju e Neurospora da coleção NRRL. Verificou-se o cruzamento pelo aparecimento de peritécios resultante da fertilização apenas entre N. sitophila NRRL 2884 e Neurospora isoladas de beiju. Concluiu-se que as linhagens de Neurospora isoladas de beiju e N. sitophila NRRL 2884 são da mesma espécie, porém apresentam características bioquímicas e microbiológicas diferentesAbstract: Several strains of Neurospora sp were isolated from beiju which is used for production of tiquira in various regions of the state of Maranhão. 2016Co-Authors: Hendri Yani DaraAbstract:ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan ampas sari kedelai fermentasi (ASKF) dengan kapang Neurospora sitophila dalam ransum terhadap daya cerna serat kasar, retensi nitrogen dan energi metabolisme pada broiler. penelitian ini menggunakan 80 ekor broiler strain Multi Breeder (MB) 202 platinum diperoleh dari Poultry Shop, setelah berumur 5 minggu dipilih pada masing - masing perlakuan 24 ekor untuk dicekok. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan yaitu R0 (0% ASKF daalam ransum), R1 (15% ASKF dalam ransum), R2 (19% ASKF dalam ransum), R3(23% ASKF dalam ransum), R4 (27% ASKF dalam ransum). Peubah yang diamati adalah daya cerna serat kasar (%, retensi nitrogen (%) dan Energi metabolisme(Kkal/kg) ayam broiler. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan memberikan pengaruh sangat nyata (P<0.01)terhadap daya cerna serat kasar, retensi nitrogen dan Energi metabolisme ayam broiler. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ampas sari kedelai yang di fermentasi dengan Neurospora sitophila dapat dipakai 23% dalam ransum ayam broiler,hal ini dilihat dari daya cerna serat kasar 53,03%, retensi nitrogen 55,63%, dan energi metabolisme 2544,51 Kkal/kg.
