    Abstract:

    A bstrak: Penelitian ini tentang Penerapan Metode Demonstrasi untuk Meremediasi Miskonsepsi Siswa pada Materi Hukum Newton Di SMP bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas penerapan metode demonstrasi dalam meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi hukum Newton Di SMP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Pre-Experimental design dengan bentuk one-group Pretest dan posttest Design. Sampel diambil secara acak menggunakan teknik intact group (kelompok utuh) sebanyak 26 siswa. Tes yang digunakan tes pilihan ganda dengan tiga alternative jawaban yang disertai alasan sebanyak 12 soal pada pretest dan posttest untuk mengetahui rata-rata persentase miskonsepsi siswa pada materi hukum Newton. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa setelah diberikan metode demonstrasi terdapat penurunan miskonsepsi siswa sebesar 19,87% pada tes awal (pretest) dan tes akhir ( posttest). Dengan demikian penerapan metode demonstrasi efektif untuk meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi hukum Newton. Metode demonstrasi dapat dijadikan alternatif dalam melaksanakan remediasi untuk memperbaiki miskonsepsi siswa pada materi hukum Newton. The result of data analysis showed to given of demonstration method in misconception on the students about 19,87% for the first test to the effectiveness in misconception of remediation on the students on Newton Law in the material. The demonstration of the method can be used as an alternative to applied misconception of the remediation on the students in the Newtons Law in the material

    Abstract:

    Abstract: The aim of this research is to know the effectiveness of remediation using cooperative learning model type Jigsaw assisted by booklet to decrease students misconception and increasing solve problems skill in Newtons Law class VIII SMPN 3 Segedong. The research method used Pre-Eksperimental Design with One Group Pre-test Post-test Design. The number of research sample is 20 students. Mc Nemar test shows that students misconception has changed significantly after remediation. Positive change on students in increasing solve problems showed by different score on pretest and posttest. The level of effectiveness cooperative learning model type Jigsaw assisted by booklet to decrease students misconception is high and for increasing solve problems skill is medium. This research is expected to be used as an alternative remediation activities to decrease students misconception in understanding Newtons Law. Keywords: Remediation, Misconception, Jigsaw, Booklet Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas remediasi menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw berbantuan booklet untuk menurunkan miskonsepsi dan meningkatkan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal pada materi Hukum Newton di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Segedong. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah bentuk Pre-Eksperimental Design dengan rancangan One Group Pre-test Post-test Design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 20 siswa. Uji McNemar menunjukkan bahwa terjadi perubahan miskonsepsi siswa yang signifikan setelah dilakukan remediasi. Perubahan positif pada siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal ditunjukkan oleh perbedaan skor pre-test dan post-test. Tingkat efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw berbantuan booklet untuk meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa tergolong tinggi dan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal tergolong sedang. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif kegiatan remediasi untuk menurunkan miskonsepsi siswa dalam memahami materi hukum Newton.     Abstract:

    Abstract Lipase-catalyzed production of palm esters by alcoholysis of palm oil with oleyl alcohol in n-hexane was performed in 2 L stirred-tank reactor (STR). Investigation on the performance of reactor operation was carried out in batch mode STR with single impeller mounted on the centrally located shaft. Rushton turbine (RT) impellers provide the highest reaction yield (95.8%) at lower agitation speed as compared to AL-hydrofoil (AL-H) and 2-bladed elephant ear (EE) impellers. Homogenous enzyme particles suspension was obtained at 250 rpm by using RT impeller. At higher impeller speed, the shear effect on the enzyme particles caused by agitation has decreased the reaction performance. Palm esters reaction mixture in STR follows NewtonsLaw due to the linear relation between the shear stress (τ) and shear rate (dυ/dy). High stability of Lipozyme RM IM was observed as shown by its ability to be repeatedly used to give high percentage yield (79%) of palm esters even after 15 cycles of reaction. The process was successfully scale-up to 75 L STR (50 L working volume) based on a constant impeller tip speed approach, which gave the yield of 97.2% after 5 h reaction time.

    Abstract:

    Lipase-catalyzed production of oleyl oleate, a liquid wax ester by esterification of oleic acid with oleyl alcohol was performed in 2 L stirred tank reactor (STR). Process improvement study in reactor operation was carried out in batch mode STR with single impeller mounted on the centrally located shaft. Rushton turbine impeller showed better performance in degree of mixing, as compared to AL Hydrofoil impeller, whereby a high Reynolds number of >104 was achieved at 400 rpm, which exhibit a turbulent flow pattern [1]. Homogenous enzyme particles suspension was obtained at lower impeller speed (≤200 rpm) by using AL Hydrofoil impeller. However, there was significant effect to the mixing improvement on the enzyme particles distribution by using 2 impellers system with spacing of 30 mm even at lower agitation speed (≤200 rpm). High stability of Novozym 435 was observed even in the presence of shear forces on the enzyme particles due to the mechanical agitation speed. Wax ester reaction mixture in STR follows NewtonsLaw due to the linear relation between the shear stress (τ) and shear rate (dυ/dy) [2]. The process was successfully carried out to the highest amount of wax ester that can be produced in 2 L STR whereby, the production and productivity of oleyl oleate were improved from 295.39 g/L/h to 705.76 g/L/h and 310.16 g/h to 952.78 g/h, respectively.
