Photonuclear Reactions on bypassed nuclei 84Sr and 92Mo
Bulletin of The Russian Academy of Sciences: Physics, 2018Co-Authors: Sergey Belyshev, B. S. Ishkhanov, A. A. Kuznetsov, V. V. Khankin, V. N. Orlin, M. M. Popova, Konstantin StopaniAbstract:The yields of Photonuclear Reactions on mixtures of natural isotopes of strontium and molybdenum that result in the formation and decay of bypassed nuclei 84Sr and 92Mo are measured and compared to theoretical results obtained using the TALYS code and calculations in the combined model of photonucleon reaction (CMPR). The need is demonstrated to consider isospin splitting in cases of photoproton Reactions. The yields of the 92Mo(γ,p)91mNb, 84Sr(γ,p)83Rb Reactions that make the main contribution to the formation and decay of 84Sr and 92Mo in the p-process of nucleosynthesis differ from the TALYS and CMPR results by several hundred percent.

multiparticle Photonuclear Reactions in the p process at temperatures between 1 and 10 gk
Physics of Atomic Nuclei, 2018Co-Authors: S. S. Belyshev, A. A. Kuznetsov, K A Stopani, V. V. KhankinAbstract:The role of (γ, 2n), (γ, pn), and (γ, 2p) multiparticle Photonuclear Reactions in processes that lead to the nucleosynthesis of p-nuclides is considered. The library of rates of multiparticle Photonuclear Reactions that was developed for the temperature range between 1 and 10 GK and which is intended for use in stellar-evolution models and in calculations of nucleosynthesis is described. A simulation of the p-process in the course of an SN-IIa core-collapse event reveals that, within the scenario being considered, a dominant effect of multiparticle Photonuclear Reactions consists in enhancing the rate of photodisintegration of p-nuclides at temperatures above 6 to 7 GK.

Photonuclear Reactions on the cadmium isotopes 106,108Cd at the bremsstrahlung endpoint energy of 55.5 MeV
Physics of Atomic Nuclei, 2016Co-Authors: Sergey Belyshev, A. A. Kuznetsov, Konstantin Stopani, V. V. KhankinAbstract:The gamma-activation technique was used to measure the absolute yields of Photonuclear Reactions on the cadmium isotopes 106,108Cd. The results obtained in this way were compared with the results of the calculations based on the statistical model. For Reactions on the isotope 108Cd, agreement between these theoretical and experimental results is good, but the experimental ratio of the yields of photoproton and photoneutron Reactions on the isotope 106Cd differs substantially from its theoretical counterpart. The results of our present study are discussed from the point of view of the production of bypassed nuclei in the p-process of nucleosynthesis.

Peskov, K A StopaniAbstract:Photon activation technique using bremsstrahlug with end-point energy 55.6 MeV is used to induce Photonuclear Reactions in a 209Bi target. Absolute yields and integrated cross sections of multiparticle Reactions (γ, 2n-6n), (γ, 4n1p), and (γ, 5n1p) are obtained. The results are compared to predictions of statistical models using systematical and microscopic description of photoabsorption and to the result of evaluation of the partial photoneutron reaction cross sections. Based on a comparison with existing experimental photoneutron cross sections and model calculations, we make a conclusion that neutron multiplicity assignment in available photoneutron cross sections on 209Bi can be corrected and evaluated cross sections of (γ, 1n) and (γ, 2n) are obtained that are in an agreement with the obtained experimental results

Isomeric ratios for products of Photonuclear Reactions on a natural mixture of silver isotopes
Physics of Atomic Nuclei, 2015Co-Authors: S. S. Belyshev, B. S. Ishkhanov, A. A. Kuznetsov, A. A. Martynov, K A StopaniAbstract:Photonuclear Reactions on a naturalmixture of silver isotopes at the electron-accelerator energy of 55 MeV are studied by the gamma-activation method. The yields of Photonuclear Reactions involving the emission of up to four neutrons are determined. The isomeric ratios are obtained for ^104Ag and ^106Ag. The values found for these isomeric ratios are compared with the results of other studies and with the results of calculations based on the cascade–evaporation model.

multi particle Photonuclear Reactions behind giant dipole resonance
Journal of the Korean Physical Society, 2011Co-Authors: A. N. Ermakov, B. S. Ishkhanov, I. V. Makarenko, V. N. Orlin, I. M. KapitonovAbstract:Experimental data on yields of multi-particle Photonuclear Reactions (involving the emission of up to seven neutrons from the nucleus involved) on 197 Au, 203;205 Tl, and 209 Bi nuclei in the region extending from the giant dipole resonance to an energy of 67.7 MeV are presented. These data are compared with the results of modern theoretical calculations that take into account both the excitation of a giant dipole resonance (GDR) in a nucleus and the photodisintegration of quasideutrons (QD) in it. By and large, experimental data conrm the results of theoretical calculations { that is, only upon taking simultaneously into account both alternative photodisintegration mechanisms (GDR excitation and QD photodisintegration) can one describe these experimental data. The contribution of QD photodisintegration grows with increasing photon energy and neutron multiplicity and becomes dominant for Reactions with the emission of not less than ve neutrons from the nucleus being considered.
