    'Universidad del Magdalena', 2010
    Co-Authors: Causado-rodriguez Edwi
    Abstract:

Abstract This article seeks to formulate a strategy for payment of material proportional to income in the process of a crab meat processing company in the department of Magdalena. In each industrial entrepreneur organization around the globe a three dimensional objective well known under the abbreviation QCD (Quality, Costs, and Delivery) is examined, pursued, and evaluated on daily basis. The nowadays crucial philosophy pertaining to process improvement in terms of Quality Assurance and significant cost reduction is that: "The Quality must be manufactured and not controlled up". In order to be successful on the market place it is necessary to orchestrate, implement and carry out an advanced Production Quality Assurance system with appropriate tools of course accompanying with previously precisely organized prototype and pre-serial stages of Production. • usa concrete construction industry cement based materials and civil infrastructure cbm ci
    2008
    Co-Authors: B Mobasher
    Abstract:

This paper presents a summary of major advances in the United States concrete construction industry in the last decade (1997-2007). Advances in the materials affect the design and construction of the facilities. The issues facing the technology of concrete materials, Production, Quality Assurance, design practices, construction, and maintenance of constructed facilities are also summarized. Life cycle cost modelling combined with statistical Quality control measures could identify potential savings. Enabling methodologies are available to help with statistical process control such that a set of specifications based on statistical Quality control techniques could identify cost saving opportunities. The paper also summarizes the potential advances that may occur in the next decade (2008- 2018) in concrete technology and their effect on the concrete construction industry.
