    Abstract:

    2016 National Conference on Electrical, Electronics and Biomedical Engineering, ELECO 2016 -- 1 December 2016 through 3 December 2016 -- 126446In this study, an intelligent embedded System which it can be used in fare collection System and all indoor vehicle applications at same time, is designed and Android porting to this device. We discuss expected characteristics of mobile payment and how Android works on any hardware and the concepts that outline the porting of Android onto any hardware. Requirement analysis is performed before starting the study to determine hardware features of the System. Bootloader, Linux kernel and Root File System is prepared for this device. Environmental parameters of the bootloader is determined in accordance with the requirements. Android source code is patched and compiled to get System image. In conclusion, Android based mobile payment and vehicle control center design has been completed. © 2016 The Chamber of Turkish Electrical Engineers

    In the embedded Linux System,Root File System as an important part of building embedded Linux System,which is the indispensable component of Linux/UNIX System.Starting from the foundation of Linux Root File System,the composition of Root File System and how to use Busybox configuration to complete the Root File System is analysed in detail,and the startup script and configuration Files in order to achieve simple Root File System,and elaborate the production process of Root File System are proposed,taking Cramfs and Jffs 2 for example,reference for the production of other File Systems is provided.

    Abstract:

    Nowadays generalized operating System,in order to meet the demands of various users,have to be installed some applications which may never be used forever.These applications not only waste precious disks space,but occupy a lot of CPU resources.This paper presents a concept of modularized Linux Root FileSystem and a method of building a modularized Linux System.In the process of booting or running of this modularized Linux System,the System only load the necesseray modules for running,and integrate the modules into a concise and compact System which can run efficiently.In addition,this kind of System have simplified the way of System extension and software installation,and promote the security and stability of the System.
