discussion on subject knowledge Service Pattern of agricultural university libraries
Journal of Computational Chemistry, 2016Co-Authors: Linlin ZhangAbstract:Taking Heilongjiang Bayi Agricultural University as an example, the discipline Service practice was explored from the aspects such as free network resources and tool use, subject navigation, subject librarians, information sharing space and information literacy education. The typical cases were provided; the optimization of utilization method of network resources was put forward; the subject theme navigation was developed; and the information sharing space of specific discipline and other working strategies were carried out. The experience and enlightenment of active Service for subject construction, priority Service for key subjects, subject Service by lay and step and seizing of the opportunity of subject Service were summarized, which developed ideas and provided reference to the establishment of deep subject Services of general libraries of colleges and universities.

design of a fuzzy finite capacity queuing model based on the degree of customer satisfaction analysis and fuzzy optimization
Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 2008Co-Authors: Maria Jose Pardo, David De La FuenteAbstract:Due to uncontrollable factors, the parameters in the queuing models may be uncertain and so in this paper we present the design of a fuzzy finite capacity queuing model in which the arrival Pattern and the Service Pattern follow an exponential distribution under uncertain parameter. As for the design of the system, the criterion of optimization proposed is aimed at the optimum selection of the number of servers, with the goal of providing a high degree of satisfaction to clients when they join the system. This optimization process will be solved through Markov chains with fuzzy state. The validity of the procedure proposed to incorporate fuzzy data in this queuing system is confirmed by a fuzzy simulation experiment of the differential equations, which govern the behaviour of the model, by the Bontempi's Qua. Si. III algorithm. The extension of queuing decision models to fuzzy environments enables the decision maker to obtain more informative results and wider knowledge on the behaviour of the system, since the results obtained in the fuzzy queuing model are fuzzy subsets containing the whole initial information; that is why the finite capacity queuing models with uncertain data can have a broader range of applications.

Service Pattern discovery of web Service mining in web Service registry repository
International Conference on e-Business Engineering, 2006Co-Authors: Qianhui Althea Liang, Jenyao Chung, Steven M Miller, Yang OuyangAbstract:This paper presents and elaborates the concept of Web Service usage Patterns and Pattern discovery through Service mining. We define three different levels of Service usage data: i) user request level, ii) template level and iii) instance level. At each level, we investigate Patterns of Service usage data and the discovery of these Patterns. An algorithm for Service Pattern discovery at the template level is presented. We show the system architecture of a Service-mining enabled Service registry repository. Web Service Patterns, Pattern discovery and Pattern mining supports the discovery and composition of complex Services, which in turn supports the application of web Services to increasingly complex business processes and applications.
