    The requirements-analysis process is driven by an identification of all of the Specifications that must be prepared on a program. The Specification Tree is the means to define and communicate this information. Figure 6.7-1 illustrates typical Specification Tree at the top level for a space transport system during the time MIL-STD-490A was effective in military procurement. It is an overlay of the system architecture, as evidenced by the architecture IDs in the lower right corner of the blocks. We could place a Specification type indicator in the lower left corner of each block. Here, the A means system Specification format, B means a hardware item Specification format, and C means a software Specification format. You might also include type N for no Specification required and P for procurement Specification. A type I could be established for interface control documents. These letters are not coordinated with the MIL-STD-490A-type letters, which are no longer used formally.

    Abstract:

    IISO/IEC 9594-8 defines the public key framework and attribute certificate framework. Attribute certificate framework deals with privilege management infrastructure(PMI). In PMI, for privilege management using attribute certificates, role assignment certificates and role Specification certificates are used to assign and specify privileges independently. Role Specification certificates includes privilege Specifications and the details far privilege management of network environments. Privilege management of unreliable network environment tries to enhance the reliability and efficiency of privilege information transmission forwarding over unreliable routes in the presence of potentially faulty nodes and edges. Each node forms a role Specification Tree based on role Specification relationship data collected from the network. In this paper privilege management cost with the role Specification certificates Tree structure is evaluated trying to reduce the overhead incurred by role creation and modification of privileges. The multicasting of packets are used for scalability. We establish management cost model taking into account the packet loss and node reliability which continuously join and leave for network. We present quantitative results which demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed privilege management scheme.

  • Development and application of CATIA-GDML geometry builder

    Abstract:

    Due to conceptual difference between geometry descriptions in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) systems and particle transport Monte Carlo (MC) codes direct conversion of detector geometry in either direction is not feasible. The paper presents an update on functionality and application practice of the CATIA-GDML geometry builder first introduced at CHEP2010. This set of CATIAv5 tools has been developed for building a MC optimized GEANT4/ROOT compatible geometry based on the existing CAD model. The model can be exported via Geometry Description Markup Language (GDML). The builder allows also import and visualization of GEANT4/ROOT geometries in CATIA. The structure of a GDML file, including replicated volumes, volume assemblies and variables, is mapped into a part Specification Tree. A dedicated file template, a wide range of primitives, tools for measurement and implicit calculation of parameters, different types of multiple volume instantiation, mirroring, positioning and quality check have been implemented. Several use cases are discussed.

The purpose for this systems engineering architecture Tree is to describe and communicate the system's selected and existing architecture, to provide a common structure to improve the integration of work and resulting products, and to provide a framework as a basis for TWRS Specification Tree development.
