Subvalvular Aortic Stenosis associated with valvular Aortic regurgitation in young child
International Journal of Cardiology, 2009Co-Authors: Salvatore Patane, Francesco Patane, Filippo Marte, Giuseppina Tindara Pagano, Eleonora Di Tommaso, Scipione CarerjAbstract:Discrete subvalvar Aortic Stenosis is a variable and progressive disease. Recurrent obstruction may reappear despite the adequacy of surgical excision. Aortic regurgitation is associated with numerous eponymous signs, it is also a complication of discrete subvalvar Aortic Stenosis and its detection often triggers referral for surgery. It has also been suggested that an infant or young child with a well-defined 30 mm Hg or more peak gradient should have removal of the subvalvar obstruction. We describe a case of Subvalvular Aortic Stenosis associated with Aortic regurgitation in a 10-year-old Italian boy.

asymptomatic double site of left ventricular outflow tract obstruction Subvalvular Aortic Stenosis associated with valvular Aortic Stenosis
International Journal of Cardiology, 2009Co-Authors: Salvatore Patane, Filippo Marte, Gianluca Di BellaAbstract:Left ventricular outflow tract obstruction can occur at the supravalvular, valvular, or Subvalvular level. Each level of obstruction is associated with distinct symptomatology, natural history, and operative approach. We describe a case of asymptomatic double site of left ventricular outflow tract obstruction: Subvalvular Aortic Stenosis associated with valvular Aortic Stenosis.

recurrence of Subvalvular Aortic Stenosis after surgery with severe left ventricular outflow tract obstruction and severe Aortic regurgitation
2015Co-Authors: Hakimeh Sadeghian, Zahra SavandroomiAbstract:A 22-year-old man, who had undergone surgery for Subvalvular Aortic Stenosis 3 years previously, presented with atypical chest pain and was referred to our echocardiography laboratory for echocardiography.
-
valvular and Subvalvular Aortic Stenosis with bicuspid Aortic valve
2015Co-Authors: Hakimeh Sadeghian, Zahra SavandroomiAbstract:A young woman presented with a history of atypical chest pain and a systolic murmur (grade III/VI) in the Aortic area without ejection clicks. She had normal left and right ventricular sizes and functions and mild concentric left ventricular hypertrophy.
-
common atrium atrioventricular septal defect and Subvalvular Aortic Stenosis
2015Co-Authors: Hakimeh Sadeghian, Zahra SavandroomiAbstract:An 18-year-old old female, who had dyspnea on exertion (functional class III) and cyanosis, was referred to our echocardiography laboratory.
-
Subvalvular Aortic Stenosis with atrial septal defect ostium secundum type
2015Co-Authors: Hakimeh Sadeghian, Zahra SavandroomiAbstract:A 26-year-old obese man presented with a history of multiple episodes of respiratory infections. Physical examination revealed a systolic ejection murmur in the Aortic area. Echocardiography showed normal left and right ventricular sizes and functions.
-
Subvalvular Aortic Stenosis fibromuscular type with severe left ventricular outflow tract obstruction
2015Co-Authors: Hakimeh Sadeghian, Zahra SavandroomiAbstract:A middle-aged man presented with a history of dizziness during exercise and atypical chest pain. Physical examination revealed a systolic ejection murmur (grade III/VI) at the apex and at the left sternal border.
