    Abstract:

    An unprecedented volume of data is being generated in healthcare and life sciences, ranging across medical records, claims, lab data, genomics data, medical images, emerging exogenous data, and knowledge. Much of this data is moving to the cloud. In this paper, we describe examples of how the data from systems of record, exogenous data sources and knowledge sources can be combined at cloud scale and speed to create industry-transforming insights to improve health outcomes. We then describe a cloud architecture and building blocks that enable these solutions, and the compliance aspects that are critical to healthcare solutions. Finally, we outline a realization of this architecture and outline further research topics in this domain.

    The goal of this Visionary Track on Web Tasking at IEEE World Congress on Services is to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners to present research results and positions on the challenges involved in developing methods, conceptual frameworks, architectures and tools to enable web tasking. The critical question at the core of this activity is how to put resources in the hands of web users, so that they can conduct web tasking with ease. Resources may come from (i) systems of record from enterprises, (ii) systems of instrumentation as in cyber-physical systems and internet of things, and (iii) systems of people including individuals and relationships from across various social networking platforms. Web-tasking research requires interdisciplinary research expertise and collaboration.

Let's look at how a blockchain network operates, what makes it unique, and how IBM is helping to advance the technology. First, a little background is in order. The role of ledgers In today's connected and integrated world, economic activity takes place in business networks that span national, geographic, and jurisdictional boundaries. Business networks typically come together at marketplaces where producers, consumers, suppliers, partners, market makers/enablers, and other stakeholders own, control, and exercise their rights, privileges, and entitlements on objects of value known as assets. Assets can be tangible and physical, such as cars and homes, or intangible and virtual, such as stock certificates and patents. Asset ownership and transfer create value in a business network, and are known as transactions. Transactions typically involve various participants like buyers, sellers, and intermediaries (such as banks, auditors, or notaries) whose business agreements and contracts are recorded in ledgers. A business typically uses multiple ledgers to keep track of asset ownership and asset transfers between participants in its various lines of businesses.     Abstract:

    The researchers carried out the theoretical studying of creative processes in the Ancient-Russian musical art and connected to it decoding (translation into the modern stuff notation) and the analysis of its products (chants) without taking into account their accessory to this or that regional school that can not give enough exact results of research. The ancient manuscripts testify, that at the identical tracing many complex musical marks-neumes (znamena’s) in the different areas of medieval Russia had the various maintenance – divorce (razvod’s), and it is necessary for taking into account at the research of products. Starting the studying the outstanding ancient Russian master’s creativity, the first of all it is necessary to collect together their author’s divorces of melodic formulas and of the the complex marks-neumes, scattered on numerous manuscripts. It is necessary to systematize these divorces, to define the author’s features, having compared to the other divorces and then to take into account the given features at the analysis chants. Data of these materials in the special tables representing musical-intonational alphabets of the masters (schools), create a basis for more exact decode and the analysis of the products of the ancient-Russian musical art, research of the theory of this art and the creative processes happened in it as a whole.
