    The Sensor and Circuit of testing Fabric infiltrate characteristic are designed. By testing capacitance variation ΔC between the sensor and two plates. It can detect the spread of area of the Fabric seepage ΔS and determine the seepage rate of the Tested Fabric. The Calibration testing has been achieved for the Sensor and Circuit. The data is given out. The linear distortion of the testing Sensor and Circuit is smaller than 5%.It can meet the technical requirements of the testing seepage characteristics of textile products.

    The heat and humidity permeability testing device of textiles was developed successfully by sensing technology,computer measurement technology,simulating human skin perspiring and microclimate between sweating skin and Tested Fabric through disc part with inner heat and humidity source. The basic structure of the device,test methods and test performance were introduced. The device was designed reasonably,accurate and efficient,easy operation.

    Abstract:

    When Fabric is made up to be garments or home textiles,the mechanical property of the Fabric decides their drape.This arti- cle,by use of experimental testing,studied and analyzed the relationship of the Fabric structure parameters and mechanical properties against the Fabric drape.The result shows that the breaking elongation,bending rigidity and adjustable ratio of the Tested Fabric are closely related to its drape.But Fabric thickness and weight are of no remarkable effect on the drape.
