production method for Thiocarbonyl Compound
2017Co-Authors: 勝旭 宮崎, 大川 春樹, 昭一 小澤Abstract:Provided is a method with which it is possible to produce a high-purity Thiocarbonyl Compound via an industrially practicable production method by removing a sulfurizing agent-derived byproduct via a simple post-reaction purification method. This production method for a Thiocarbonyl Compound (B) includes, in the following order: a step (1), in which a carbonyl Compound (A), a diphosphetane-disulfide Compound (C), and a solvent (X) are heated, yielding a mixture; and a step (2), in which the mixture is alkali-treated with an alkali aqueous solution having a concentration of at most 25 wt%.

2,4-Di-t-butyl-6-methoxyphenyldithioxophosphorane as a probe for the mechanistic studies of Lawesson's reagent
Tetrahedron Letters, 1994Co-Authors: Masaaki Yoshifuji, Delie An, Kozo Toyota, Masafumi YasunamiAbstract:Abstract The chemical conversion of carbonyl to Thiocarbonyl Compound was directly achieved by the treatment of benzophenone with 2,4-di-t-butyl-6-methoxyphenyldithioxophosphorane, which was prepared by the thermolysis of the corresponding dimeric species, 1,3,2,4-dithiadiphosphetane 2,4-disulfides.
